Shershah gave a serious answer to every humorous question😂
It’s Pleasant to see Shershah here otherwise I stopped following EON.
Wael Hallaq and Naqib Attas are two most important authors to learn from, in post modern era as their philosophy helps orient oneself as a Muslim.
No way Bruh said skibbidi toilet🤣
From
1 hr 30 min onwards Sherhshah is patiently waiting for Aman to come back from food land to “History Philosophy & Politics”
But
Aman is like we can do that all through food history 😁.
Finally Aman gave it an Islamic touch also ..
Wooow. Wasn't expecting titanslayer to be here. But what a pleasent surprise. ❤️
A series of talks can be started over his recommendation of books By Eon boys do consider
Great MashAllah.. keep it up and aware the people regarding the islamic history and the truth.
Really liked this one.
I want you both to host a separate series discussing these topics related to Muslim empires and other empires at large.
Basically discussing their civil structures and interactions between those societies.
It will be phenomenally successful. If you guys can title them with some history buzzwords like names of famous figures over here.
This kind of discussion clearly has a market, case in point dekho suno jano and furqan qureshi.
But I would advise it to be more like a documentary-style podcast, with better visuals. And more importantly, the displaying of books, cause it has a more deeper effect on a layperson in regards to the authenticity.
Historical amnesia of wars immediately before the colonization, and even during colonization is pretty crazy.
Like people legit say the West won because our side had swords and they had guns. It trivializes their 100-year effort to take over India. And by extention trivilizes us.
Do it!
Surely they should
If any from eon team going through this written please do make sure to start a series over this request
Agreed
Ahhh! Finally. 🎉
Masha Allah
He is on Eon ❤
Finallyyy!! You go sheroooo🫶
Skibidi sometimes means "dumb" and sometimes means "cool." It can also be used in the meaning "bad, ". It also means silly when you say this gives me skibidi vibes or I am in a skibidi mood.

It's amazing to see a boy from Waziristan who is intellectually motivated towards Islam.
I don't know why people dislike it when Amaan interrupts the guests. I like the way he always tries to prove his point. Obviously, this is a podcast, and the conversation has to be two-way. I really enjoyed Amaan's analysis and arguments more than SherShah's.

As a huge admirer of Professor Halak, I believe you ought to have him on your English podcast. His book, The Impossible State, is excellent; you ought to bring him. I've read it. You ought to have him on your show; he has some really intriguing ideas.
I think 'Restating Orientalism' is more insightful.

He is trying to make podcast interesting and engaging. Otherwise people can get bored..
May Allah give him barakah. Due to him i finished a book called lost Islamic history by firas al khateeb.
For many this wouldn't be mind-blowing, but for me who wanted to finish a book for 2 years and couldn't due to notes taking.
Shershah suggested not to take notes when you are a beginner book reader.

finally a dude, further on the spectrum, compared to Aman. Hats off to Shershah, may Allah keep you safe.
Aman bhai tried to divert the conversation many times but shershah was just keen to get back to where he was. I just loved this continuous tug of war between them both.❤
Man I’ve been waiting on him to show up on eon. Shershah is good guy
Excellent podcast. Just a couple of points to add. Islam presents a superior model of society by bonding them on an ideological basis. This is greater than any tribal or nationalistic bond.
Another point here is about the apparent separation of executive from the jurisprudential (ulema and Sufis). I think that the correct way to view it is that this was part of the single state. The day the state vanished, the effectiveness of these ulema and Sufis vanished. So it was part and parcel of the same system.
As for the scholarship in islam being a loose framework, I would suggest you go to a madrassa even today. There is nothing loose about the hierarchy there. There was an intricate system of succession among ulema at that time and a small glimpse of that exists today.
The "State" did not exist before the French Revolution. Read Wael Hallaq.
@@MuhammadAhmed-lc1op you mean the state in it's modern form (secular, freedoms, legal positivism etc.)? Agreed. I am talking about the state built by the Prophet SAW, then taken forward by khulafa...
@@shahzadmalik96 I'm saying "State" is the incorrect word to use. The word "state" and the word "governance" are not synonyms. The "State" refers to a centralized, hierarchical structure that claims ultimate sovereignty over a defined territory and population, enforcing its laws through bureaucratic institutions and the monopoly of violence. It is genealogically and thus inherently modern and european.
@@MuhammadAhmed-lc1op Got it, agreed. I was talking about the Islamic state. I don't think the word state itself has that fixed connotation that you specified. But anyway, agreed with your point
The podcast was a good one in comparison to many which are just not worth watching - like those which are mere ranting with Sahil Adeem and several others. But the sad reality is that Muslims today don't learn from primary-sources and specialist Muslim authors of their own faith. Wael Hallaq might be a better academician than the other non-Muslim academicians and orientalists, but several of his theories are clear-cut un-Islamic and against the well-accepted facts of Muslim-history - especially his work on fiqh and usul al-fiqh "Origins and evolution of Islamic law".
Reading books of different authors broadens one's perspective but only when you are well-grounded in the subject that you are reading on. Both the panelists don't realise that they themselves have become an essential part of the "Western attack" on Islam when they use works of non-Muslims on Islamic sciences claiming that it is a "very good book" ('bohot acchi kitab hain') - when it is filled with errors. Several other claims and ideas of the panelists could be challenged and disproven within an hour, but the major concern here is the total lack of any sensitivity whilst approaching Islamic-sciences and taking 'ilm about Islamic-sciences from non-Muslims who are not even experts in comparison to Muslim-specialists! You don't even need to be an expert on Islamic-sciences merely following people like Farid Responds (Farid al-Bahraini) et cetera you'll find how Harvard, Yale, Cambridge trained so-called "experts" on Islam and its sciences being exposed, they don't know basic Arabic or make basic blunders about Islam and Muslim-history! The guest of the podcast seems to be far-away from researching primary-source materials which the sole indicator of serious scholarship and good understanding of the subject matter.
Even a western-trained academic knows the importance of primary-source materials when speaking on a subject, but this is totally lost on our panelists when they talk about serious subjects related to Muslim-history (tarikh), Islamic-sciences ('ulum ad-Din), Siyasah (politics) et cetera. The lack of serious intellectualism is glaring throughout the podcast - unfortunately this is the case with many Pakistanis on social-media barring a few like Qaiser Ahmed Raja et. al.
Him pointing at shershah and throwing him to the indian audience that hates his lineage was peak comedy 😂
Aman is extremely well read and intellectual person who purposely act like a buffon .Its part of his great plan
