The Song of Glory, during the Song period of Southern Dynasty in China, there were many social problems and disadvantages emerging and accumulating. The State Supervisor Liu Yikang (acted by Qin Hao) was still inexperienced and unfamiliar with the politics of the country; therefore, he chose to hide himself silently. Meanwhile, the Heroine Lige (acted by Li Qin) took advantage of the concubine's birthday feast and danced at the feast in an attempt to assassinate Liu Yikang. However, she became the very person both Liu Yikang and the famous Criminal Lu Yuan competed for in order to achieve their perspective targets. Coincidentally and mistakenly, Lige became the eldest daughter of the General Shen family and was designated to marry Liu Yikang.

Yes it is a happy ending, as you can see at the end they were together happily 3 years later. Liu Yikang’s brother plotted to fake Shen Lige death with poison and rescued her in case the Emperor would not give her a pardon.
女主角真的沒有死？為何其中一場戲女主角家人完全不在，師兄和師弟也不見了，究竟點解，可否告知？
I think she died, and he is just living in memories of her. When he says “it’s almost time” I think he dies too. Heck it could be also a fake death. But I think she is really dead.
Ok....the ending is rather confusing.....but if you pay more attention....then you will understand that yes...she did drink the poison...yes Yikang did manage to get from the Emperor the permission to save her life and not execute her.....but I think that the Emperor put some terms for pardoning her life. That she wouldn't be allowed to be his official wife anymore....that she couldn't live in Prince's Mansion for example hence he wasn't with her all these years...hence her family couldn't be with her as well. She must have been saved from the poison and stayed hidden for three years. Those three years were either set from the Emperor or the Prince himself until he finishes with the New Policy work that needed to be done. Then most likely Yikang could leave the Palace and the Court so he can be with her. I think his brother took the responsibilities of the Court so he can be able to resign to be with her and live as commoners. In the end they were indeed together, yes I also thought it might be a hallucination but turned out that it wasn't and indeed was with her. Also Sanbao when the cushion, she had made back then, was patched up and gave it to Yikang said that Consort Li will be happy to know it is fixed. If she was dead why Yikang would be so happy and content when he sat on that cushion and later on when he finished his work with the New Policy? He did say the word 'soon' also when he was back in her room putting those blossoms in the vase. So I believe he was excited that he could be able to finally see her again and be with her. It is a happy ending......a confusing....a puzzled happy ending....after all... :)

结局让我怀疑人生。。。
我看完這戲只能說每部戲本身沒有好或壞，祇有戲想要傳達什麼給觀眾？但這部戲我要替所有演員拍手說聲好，辛苦了。這戲剪接和後製部份，是有些讓人需要花時間按個人瞭解做結尾。不是每個人都喜歡這樣的方式，會讓人混亂，不知最後想表達的是什麼？。戲本身是沒有一定的模式來呈現，一部戲是對是錯是好是壞，要靠每位觀眾喜不喜歡接不接授，但一定有一個啟有一個尾，觀眾內心跟這戲做個收。當然現在很喜歡開放式的收尾，讓觀眾跟這自己喜歡的方式來收尾，沒有對錯好壞，祇是整個剪接後製效果需要更清楚，這樣留給觀眾有更寬的想像空間。要不可惜整個團隊和演員這麼努力。我想這是製作方和導演以後要思考的。

This was a great series! But I feel let down by the final episode, 53. It was completely out of Lige's character to find her family and friends had disappeared, to not find them. It's also not in her character to give up on a situation. They would have worked on finding a situation. If she had in fact taken poison, what happened to her body? If Lige had really died, the Shen family would have said something at that dinner scene about her in remembrance. I feel after such a long drama, the script could have been better written with more clear closure. This should have been 2 episodes, but I find so many of these dramas go on and on, and then the last episode is to fast in the closure and too much time is spent with flashbacks instead of acting. It's as if they ran of production money and had to wrap up quick.
It seems on reflection, that Peng Chen and Lige were going to meet at the swing and chime tree and that's why he showed up there straight from seeing the Emperor. There must have been some arrangement for them to separate for a certain time period, 3 years. I can't believe her mother, with her history of mental breakdowns, would be so composed, even after 3 years, if Lige had really died. The woman was a wreck for 18 years or whatever it was, since her daughter went missing. Not even the birth of a grandchild would, ease her pain of loosing her daughter so soon after her husband and son.
Peng Chen was too composed as well at the end. A love that strong would have destroyed him if Lige had died, so it would seem there was some arrangement for her to stay alive.
I'm wondering if there was something cut out of this last bit of the story. The last episode seems so choppy and inconsistent with the rest of the drama.

After watching this last drama, the lesson is husband and wife must have open communication other than just loving each other. Lige didn't need to sacrifice herself if she could learn to trust her husband capability, and just don't be a hero for one day.
In the journey of life it is so important to make a wise decision. Make one wrong decision causing pain especially to her husband, family and friends.
Remember this is just a drama, but in reality, when there is a problem there will be a better solution without sacrifice anyone.
Lige has always been impulsive from the beginning. That was a major flaw for a consort.

How did..wait, what? How did we go from point A to point B? She took the wine but is gone when he arrives - where did her body go and why did she take the bell thing? My conclusion to this is there will be a period of time that she will be away and meet again.the poison scene is to tell all people that she died,so that people will forgot her.but later on she and the prince will be meeting secretly.

Wang Mian’s revenge is up to his last breath.., he never regretted . He included consort Li in his testimony as one of the assassins of vermillion bird alliance . That’s why this happened. Yet the ending is hanged . It leaves to the viewer to analyse wether consort Li died or not. Anyway it’s a good story .

Quando a gente pensa que está tudo bem, vem outra bomba😳💔💣 . O Príncipe Pengcheng, conseguiu com o Imperador, livrar a consorte Li da morte? Porque sua família desapareceu? Porque todos estavam tão felizes e calmos? Creio que deixaram várias partes sem resposta, por que possivelmente, haverá uma 2° temporada. Mas mesmo assim, foi uma excelente obra prima, que nos prendeu do começo ao fim. Parabéns à todos os envolvidos e a ótima tradução em Português/Brasil 🇧🇷
I’m on episode 17 and could not resist seeing if it ends well. After seeing the comments for episode 53 I’ll probably not watch it.

Sad ending beacause the girl she love need to sacrifice her life
Is it really necessary to end so sad. If this is the author or director's way of making the viewers to have a special feeling about this drama, then they got it, but negatively. It is such a waste of the performers' hard work, especially the lead actor and actress's talents. Like one of the viewer's comment, he/she will find out the author or director's name, and avoid any further watching of their productions. How would the emperor who never interfered/monitored the plots of his officials but suddenly ordered a death sentence to the lead actress when the turmoils were almost cleared. How would the evil adopted daughter be able to manipulate the very deep high ranking official circle in order to eliminate the lead actress but survived until the very end of the drama. Luckily I did not waste much time as I only jumped from episode to episode.

看戏嘛，有些虚构的剧情都不能有逻辑来看啦！
这部剧看到的是古人的情义孝悌忠信礼节廉耻尊师重道，在我们现代已经不再重视了（有可能都没有了）。我们可问自己现在所讲的爱，信任，是不是有条件的？
亲人的相互扶持与信任，亲眼见到的也未必是真 （别人想让你看到的，你的能力又能让自己看到什么），还有做什么事都先须冷静 （判断的头脑比盲目的眼睛更为重要）。
没有好与坏，只有迷与悟，一念罢了。
结局剧中有提到，要堵住众人的口。所以，都藏起来最好了呀 （盘谷啊！）！骊歌见不到其他人，应该心里知道怎么做了 (在刑场那时也假死过一次啦）。没有人可以再利用他们，来阻挠新政的推行。最后彭城王不也说，快了！

Ha! Thank goodness i skipped a lot of this. It started off ok, but its too repetitive and annoying with Lu, the sister and the old consort. They annoyed me to a point that took me to the last episode, which i find disappointing also. 1st why didn't he tell her whats happening from the jump in order to come up with a solution together. 2. She overheard the conversation and came up with a solution on her own. See what lack of communication does. 3rd. Why couldn't she find her family? 4th. Why would he taste that old/rotten food that's been deserted for quite some time. Can an emperor stay in complete isolation and delegates his responsibilities to someone else? If so, why is he the emperor?
It's not rotten food. It was prepared by li ge indeed . She just faked her death and moved to isolated area. After 3 yrs he goes to her and tastes her food . He shared his burden and responsibilities to his sixth brother.
I also don't get y her family didn't even mentioned her name atleast once at the dinner.
The director totally messed up episode 53 that none of the events make sense . I think the director was drunk when filming. It seems Lige hastily poisoned herself so that Kang would stay at the Imperial Court and continue as king...or they faked her death to escape the Emperor's secret order.
I think the end when Lige appears with Kang in the country yard is just his memories of being with her, but I too do not understand why they included the part where the Shen mansion and San Jui Tang house were deserted but later brought the Shen family back.

為了李沁，終於把這部狗血劇追完了。。。😅
覺得演員，服妝，武打，production value 都很棒。人物之間的感情也很有愛很暖。（特別喜歡沈將軍）
但是劇情裡太多邏輯有洞的事情發生，細節有點牽強。壞人也太莫名其妙沒人性，跟本就是一群精神變態者。讓人看得心裡很不是滋味。
結局嗎。。。我覺得驪歌應該沒死因為沒有屍體，之後她取下的風鈴又出現了，還有她最後穿的衣服也從沒看過所以應該是新的。
可是她的名字又叫驪歌。。。 讓人很難不去想像她最後離別了。🤔

剧中第36分钟应该是彭城王拿着圣旨（皇上收回成命）要向骊妃报告好消息。 如果骊妃真饮酒自尽，尸体应该在场。但是彭城王见到的只是风铃不见了。 这不能意味着骊妃离开了吗。但是剧里最后一幕感觉挺凄凉的，好像真的是死了。令人迷惑不解的 结局。36th minute was supposed to be the good news the emperor rescinded his order. When King Peng Cheng went to the swing park to deliver the good news to Li Fei ,he was shocked LiGe wasn't there and the bell was gone. He dropped the scroll that contained the good news.He should have seen her corpse had she died on that spot when she drank the wine. What if the ending meant they still meet secretly... But the ending scene felt a bit creepy, as if she really died.... The ending is stupid....
It is a happy ending. Sheng lige shall be saved in time by Kong cheng as she went to Sanjiu fang (their pharmacy)), her Shixiong Chen and KongCheng is not at home, so that means soon her Shixiong woke up, they came to Peng palace to meet her, and also saved her life as She wasn't in the swing once Peng arrives with the new proposal approval from the King. But I guess she cannot appear in public or live in palace to claim down the noise from the public after all she grown up in a killer Gang, outside people who doesn't understand the details they will consider Peng is not a fair official per their law (Killer shall set to the death), that's why she lives in the old place as an ordinary people. At the beginning of this espoid, Peng told to his brother Jinlinhuang he needs to take more responsibilitities from Peng.Also as told, finally Peng got the death withdraw penalty approval from the King , from there we can guest he would like to have a retired life soon the new policy is carried out successful, this is the deal between Peng and king (he understood that's what King really wants , King was afraid Peng will take the power away soon the new policy /revolution goes well), but he have to hide Lige from other officials until he retired from his position. Thats why after he finish the daily work, he went to the old place to try the food that When Lige is preparing. Meanwhile Shen Lige wears the different dress and earings from the dey she tried to sucifence. BTW, White doesn't mean ghost, it could also means elegant and beauty. For example, When Sun Taifei (ex queen) passed away, was wearing the black clothes. This ending also fits the history book , where stated Peng finally became ordinary person, and he has two wifes. The final winner/big boss is the King. PS: the film editor in their Weibo also said this is a happy ending.:)

为什么那么多人认为这是悲剧结束。什么幻觉。从男主看见那对铃铛眼神从突然发现般的注视到开始笑，到一桌饭菜（不是女主做的还是鬼做的？）放在那里等他， 然后有一句"还是那么难吃“外加个碰杯饮酒（如果拍的是幻觉，碰杯应该没有声音）. 这一切都证明女主是外出躲了许久才回到他身边, 的确没死。尤其是最后一幕是他们两个人一起在看铃铛还深情对视，如果一切是男主幻觉那幕肯定是他一个人站那里.
但非常可能剧组要么一开始就拍了两个结局，HE和BE（两个从43分钟时开始区别），也可能43分时HE的结局是后拍补上去的, 因为到42分时到整体给人感觉还是悲剧的结局（两人无缘), 43分变的有点突然。
饭菜应该就是女主做的。但他们俩也许没见到，只是女主没死。

风铃是王与骊歌之间的信号，彭城王加风铃时一句'快了',就是对观众的提示，经过三年政绩已经建立，可以闪人去乡下闲云野鹤了, 风铃一加，骊歌女侠就飞跳过来把一对都取走，两人就汇合了。这结局浪是浪，就是太难猜了点，不仔细看看不出来，编剧下次可以考虑降低点理解难度，凡事过了都不好对吧

The last episode of the series is redundant and weak, and a waste of time and effort. It could have been reduced by deleting the scene of Sun Li Guo's suicide. Despite all her services to the Song Empire, the emperor only remembered in the end that she was from a hostile alliance and decided to put her to death. He has forgotten all her sacrifices for his empire. He is supposed to be a model for justice but this anonymous emperor proves himself to be as vicious and selfish as his evil enemy.
I think Chinese directors are addicted to tragic endings and they can't stop these dark, exaggerated endings which add nothing just more weakness and flow to the series
I feel like this drama should have ended after lige's mother acknowledged yixuan as her son too at the dinner, the rest is just a waste of time and why is there still a princess consort, no matter what no one likes sharing their husband. What bothers me the most is that lige is only a concubine meaning she's not the legal wife which means she's a mistress. I have no good impression of mistress. A man with two wives 🤣🤣
I don't give a damn if it's ancient times but no drama I've watched before has ever had two wives.
In ancient cultures, both in East and West, powerful rulers had harems. More than one wife. It's not at all palatable to present day view points about marriage, relationships etc. But that's how it was way back.

One of the greatest series I've ever seen. All the actors/actresses performed their roles excellently. The writer is brilliant. She/he researched well on politics/family relationship during that time. This drama has many tricks. It's up to viewers to analyze the events particularly on the last episode. απορώ.....γιατι δεν αρέσουν τα happy end στους κινέζους;δηλ τους αρέσει να βλέπουν τον ανεκπλήρωτο έρωτα και το θάνατο...δηλ λαχτάφησα λίγη κομωδία
