Amazing how talented you are! Kvist are in the Olympus of Black Metal within Emperor, Satyricon...I miss the 90's black metal era. It was very magic period of my life.
Great interpretation and playing! Kvist is one of the most well hidden gems in melodic black metal, way up there with the likes of Dissection. I get such a kick whenever Min lekam er meg blott en byrde starts playing....
Kvist has been at the top since the day I discovered them (around 2010). I always wondered why they only released one album. I think the writer felt like they had extracted all they could from the genre and moved to something else (you can only do so much with tremolo picking). That's the only thing that can explain it, as they were clearly capable of writing good stuff. The riffs themselves can be sometimes a bit boring, but the transitions and how everything flows shows some amazing songwriting skills.
I discovered Kvist via a demo cd that was sent to us by the label. I never did associate them as black metal as they were so much more and the one album (artwork etc.) really didn't appear to be Black Metal. I simply took them as miles above the bands and music that was prominent at the time. Timeless, somber piece of art.
I'd assume you'd also be a fan of Ungfell and Suhnopfer, two amazing bands that might fit your taste in black metal. Keep up the good work man, this was great
I love your covers because I can share music and bands I love with people from a genre they would never listen to. I still blast Ulcerate in their faces anyways 😂😂
amazing. Kvist are one of the best bm bands EVER

Love this track so much
Kvist is one of the best second wave BM bands, and no one mentions them. Glad to see this faithful transcription.

Definitely something special, I would say in the history of all music, their one album.
But obviously only few will know about it or hear it.
Fantastic! The world needs more Kvist

Sünhopfer I dig, Ungfell I don't! Thanks for the words.
@@JordanTommyBonnevialle That's a shame, because Ungfell digs you!
UA-cam can be closed ... nothing will be better... shake your hand.
I don't listen to a lot of black metal bands, Kvist an exception-this rendition is rare and brilliant; I wish you'd do more Kvist?
Amazing choice and cover!
Wonderfully done!
I keep discovering new bands with your videos :)
I hope you dig them! We seem to share similar tastes
