I just made my first drop cloth stretched myself canvas and it had tons of large fibers sticking up everywhere I’m gonna have to go get that mesh sandpaper for sure before I move forward I have regular sand paper but I will wait to get that mesh stuff thank you so much for the hot tips!! Ok update I went and got the mesh sandpaper and I was skeptical bc I made a mistake of sanding it before putting on and gesso it was fuzzy beyond thought I ruined it got the mesh sandpaper and it fixed it perfectly 👏👏👏👏 I’m a fan now! Thank you, Brandon, this is a great idea. I love all your video's & I really love your brush cleaning recipe. Each of your video's I watch end with a little tear in my eye because my Daddy used to play "Wildwood Flower" on his banjo and it brings back fond memories for me. Thanks for bringing a little joy to my life.

That's awesome, I never thought of using a drop cloth. I think I will try this.
Thanks, keep up the good videos.

I thought the tip on another video from an artist was great that I'll share with all of you. That is, to bevel the inside edge of the frame facing the canvas, so, when you're painting, that edge doesn't cause a line on your painting. If you have a little bevel on the frame all the way around, your canvas won't touch the inside part of the frame on the back, and your paintings will come out smoother.
