At 14:13 pastor talks about EV Hill. One of my favorite pastors. He tought me about giving. I watched him one night in tears and wrote a 100 dollar check and that was all the money I had. In two weeks I received 60 thousand dollars from a dead relative. Not kidding. I will never forget EV Hill. God rest his soul. Please show this to Pastor Morris. thanks.

He looks just like a man I was in jail with in Indiana, we would talk about God and the bible. I'm still in church today, and haven't drank or used, by The power of the Lord.

John @ "And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace" - Grace for grace; 'for' translates as 'instead of' or 'in place of' so grace has been replaced by grace, or updated in some way. The second 'grace' is the Old Testament type grace considered unmerited favor that would fall on someone for a time to accomplish a work and lifts off. Our (New Testament) grace is defined as 'God's empowering presence to do what truth demands' and remains in and with us. We are saved by grace and not by works. It isn't something that comes to perform the task whereby some declare 'once saved always saved'. NT grace remains and enables you to abide in Christ but you are free to leave. No one can 'pluck you out of His hand' as by force but He does not force you to stay either. He simply gives us the tools and ability to maintain our path including going to a church, confessing the Word, resisting the devil. walking in the Spirit, and developing the fruit of the Spirit; love, joy, peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance [self-control]. Having these tools and the Armor of God, there must be a reason so we should not expect to float into eternal life with a get out of hell free card alone. After all, free will exists in Heaven, too, so it's best to work out your salvation with fear and trembling and be counted worthy to escape 'these things' mentioned in Revelation.

First, we have to remind Christians what grace is and get them to cooperate with it. Let me ask this. Do you notice sin before committing it? That's where free will is decided. That's where the way of escape is present. That's where grace can work. Or you screw it up again because you got so used to asking for forgiveness and find yourself asking for forgiveness for the millionth time and miserable for the millionth time. Now, read my question again. Do you notice sin before committing it? Christians haven't learned that 'the law' didn't disappear. We've been given grace - God's empowering presence to do what truth demands, and we call this time period 'the dispensation of grace' but some think of it as though its mercy - not getting what you deserve, but the two are completely different. Though not a slave to sin or under its dominion, they hang around their former captors as indentured servants. Now, 'spiritual laws' still remain and are as reactionary as the laws of gravity and motion are, so blessing and cursing are just reactions to your actions, and grace, if not used and acknowledged, will be of no effect. We are saved by grace just as sheep follow their shepherd. 'Grace' is in the following of and in the listening to, the Shepherd. 'Grace' is not a badge you wear or a claim you make, or a rank given to you.

Don't misunderstand, we are not saved by works; grace is much more than doing or not doing. It's God's presence to lead you as a shepherd. This is the grace by which we're saved. This is your unmerited favor. I've heard pastors teach that salvation is a progression but that is only a half-truth without teaching that the grace whereby we're saved must be cooperated with and continued in. Otherwise, you fall into the situation where the seed fell on stony ground, choked by weeds, or scorched. There is no 'once saved always saved'. You can't be plucked out of His hand, but you can leave on your own and not even know it.
