Shad definitely had a type of charisma that created this weird power dynamic, where they thought he could do no wrong and was a harbinger of free speech. Like, a lot of these guys came from this era of making edgy and crude content and thought shad was one of them, until they slowly realized how unironic he was with his depraved content. I wouldn't blame any of them for being ignorant about the whole situation, but Shadman was already digging his grave from the start. Not even Jeff wants to talk about Shad nowadays, and he was definitely right about Shad being a freak pretending to be a nice/cool guy.
