Went to this with my father who sadly took his life this past January. Its very nice to be able to see all of these bands that him and I were up front for, especially Gojira. Thank you
Between her and Tatiana from Jinjer, females have been killing the game lately. I saw her with Iwrestledabearonce and she was phenomenal then too. Can't give enough props to her and the work she's put in.
Thank you so much for taking us along and the v.i.p. area you got, that is pretty awesome definitely was worth it. still can't believe the singer from brass against sprung a leak!
Alex, the drummer from a day to remember... His dad is my attorney. My company did their tour rehearsals for a few years in Gainesville back in the early 2010's. I've know him before he was able to hold drumsticks. Have fun and got to love Slipknot
got tickets for this years rockville to see slipknot and a couple of other smaller bands, and im glad this video exists. looks like a shit ton of fun, im super excited
I didn’t have any issues with bugs all five days. I also didn’t have any issues driving in to premium parking, not a question just pointed me out on the backstretch and I parked on the actual speedway. I have been working these festivals for years now and this was my retirement bonus from my friends
Thank you very entertaining like almost being there. I miss those good ol days brings back special memories, and yeah I'd hate to admit being too old you have no shame saying it cuz your still there haha. Please film more of this fest great content !!
Duuuuude!!! uuuufff Gojira man!! they rules!!! oh man!! cypress hill! watching this video i'm going insane in the brain XD this video is aweeeesome and epic bro!! THANKS!
@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats I’m 41 and have only been to a multi-day festival once and that was almost 10 years ago. My back feels tender and I’ve stayed in the back for everyone except Wage War.
@@DericAnzalone I'm 43 and this is my 2nd time at a festival like this as well. I tapped out and sent my boyfriend on his own for day 4. Had a great time but my feet are done! LOL
Hi, I’m thinking of taking my 16 year old daughter to Rockville 2023. would you recommend that? And what’s the best to do it? As far as what tickets to get and parking and all that?
It’s your mileage may vary with bringing kids. We brought our daughter to the earlier Rockville shows years back, but not sure how tolerant you are with cursing or heavy music. Tickets are for sale through the Rockville site (not Ticketmaster). Beware buying resale tickets on Facebook as there are a lot of scams where people take money and don’t send any tickets. The Rockville site would be the safest place to buy tickets. Parking presale is sold out, but they should have some parking for sale on site.
@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats Im ok with the heavy cursing and the music I’m a metal head myself.\m/ I’m more concerned with crowd and people getting silly is fine if I’m with my friends but different story if I’m with my daughter.
@@gusreynoso5546 It does get very crowded and it’s all general admission (field level). The 2 big stages have screens for some bands to be able to see better. I think for the most part, the crowds have been okay, especially around kids.
Great video to give some good ideas on size of the fest and things to do! I love the juxtaposition of "whose ready for teenage wrist"? Followed by crickets 😂😂😂 Also every year I think I relate more and more to Homer when he went into the record store and didn't recognize any of the bands posters.... "Talk about your no namers, nine inch nails.... Sonic youth?..." 😂😂😂
The search was for campers, but it was early with security’s first day and the ended up searching any vehicles as a mistake. Regular parking isn’t searched on site. Camping vehicles are searched thoroughly including trunks, glove box, consoles, under seats, etc.
It feels like a mile! It's not, but it's quite the hike, especially when most of the bands you want to see are on those two stages and you're just bouncing back and forth the whole time. There's not really enough time between most sets to get from one stage to the other and you miss the beginning of some shows.
I'm 21 and I'm just now aware of how many shows that actually happen I'm in Tampa went too knotfest in October and I'd definently would've went too this had I known ahead of time
I took my youngest daughter to her very first Slipknot concert at Darien Center back in October... they played with Fever 333, Code Orange, Killswitch Engage... it was such a good time.
Sucks we didn’t see you out there, I was only able to go the one night unfortunately…. We did get in for FREE though which was awesome and then someone gave us 2 FREE VIP bands at like 5pm
Hi, does anyone here plan to go to the festival show on 10/05. (Limp Bizkit, Jelly Roll, The Offspring) Fri, May 10, 2024 I'm Brazilian and I bought it wrong. I plan to sell my 4 tickets.

Yes. The bigger bands alternate stages at the end of the day.

I don’t look like it was a lot of people there I thought it would be packed out to the max being the last show of the year
Do you think VIP was worth it? Were you able to see the concert from the vip area? Loved the videos from the festival!
VIP was definitely not worth it. The viewing area is far from the stage and just as packed as the GA area.

Teenage wrist is an awesome band by the way.
No pit ?
VIP, now that I'm older and earn more money its the way to go. No burning in the sun, wallowing in the mud, and seats really do matter :)
The seating in that area is clutch. The alternative would be camping on site to be able to have some shade or a relaxation area.
I need to know the name of that song spiritbox played with that breakdown
How much did they search the cars? Did they go through your stuff?
The search was for campers, but it was early with security’s first day and the ended up searching any vehicles as a mistake. Regular parking isn’t searched on site. Camping vehicles are searched thoroughly including trunks, glove box, consoles, under seats, etc.
Gorjira was so badass!!
