- Hi! I am so glad you're here. I hope you decide to subscribe and stick around. My name is Christy. I am mama to 6 children and also have a wonderful step-son Alex and a step-son in heaven, Jimmy. We are a Christian, homeschooling family. We just moved onto a 2.5 acre homestead fixer upper. I am a registered nurse and homemaker. We share our lives here on UA-cam as well as videos on homemaking and homeschooling. It is my hope that you find encouragement here. I am not a perfectly curated channel and I do not stage my videos. I would love for you to show and talk about books
Just use rub n buff instead of spray paint. It comes in several different golds and it’s so easy to use and it sticks to plastic, metal etc.
This was such a breath of fresh air.
Back in February, I found out my husband of 18 years was having an affair. It completely broke me! I’ve been a zombie for the past three months.

Have you watched Rebecca, the movie? It's an old black and white movie directed by Alfred Hitchcock. It has Laurence Olivier as Maxim and Joan Fontaine as the newly wed wife. Just great and the cinematography is stunning. They follow the book pretty well, but they made the ending a little more dramatic. The ending was a lot better than the book. Love your classic book collections.

Lower the picture and paint it gold. I love the picture. I think another thing going on with the pic is that it appears to not be centered, but it is to the wall, what throws it off is the headboard.I say, no school for Mason!! Happy Birthday!

I read that book by Taylor Jenkins Reid and it honestly wouldn’t have been what I normally would have reached for had I known all of the content, but it really was good and it reads really fast since it is done in mostly interview form! Then I read, After I Do by her and it was really good by her as well. And now I just picked up, Malibu Rising by her at my library and I’m hoping it will be good as well. I always feel like so many books to read and so little time to squeeze it in, but I enjoy reading so much!☺️
Absolutely, Mason should not do any homeschooling work on his birthday. You should do something fun! Time goes by so quickly...make the most of it and make memories. ❤

Hi Christy, so nice to see your video! Are you still working in the hospital? I am sure full time was too much for you and your busy life! hopefully you can do per diem. Tom Mills on his channel did a video on positive fun rewards for doing chores and everyday things which I think is such a good system. My children are grown adults but I know they would have loved it when they were little!

Christy, I too love to read and was curious if you read Christian Fiction?
I do but not enough! I need some good recommendations. My problem is that I don't love contemporary fiction. I prefer Science Fiction or Fantasy.
I have been watching you since Maddie had her tooth abscess, and let me tell you, you are NOT the same person you were, and I dont mean that in a bad way at all. You were really organized and rigid about schedules and chores and stuff, and I always wondered how you did it all?.... But you're right circumstances can change us or the way we view our daily lives, many blessings to you and your family ❤️
