Watching this and I picked up on a couple of things you said about keeping the pics incase police came and worried about if someone filmed you getting attacked but only from a certain point as it could be taken out of context . I’ve heard you say some other stuff on other videos too, how strong is this fear that something will happen and fuck things up and you will get lifted? It’s something I’ve never thought of , but I suppose this must be a common fear for ppl who have changed there life around , especially if they were violent because if they see you in any confrontation ppl can jump to conclusions , a leopard never changes its spots and all that crap. I hope it’s something you can work on with your friends or a professional as I’d hate you to not be able to really do exactly what you want to with your life for fear of being wronged . I keep learning from your vids and it ties in with something I’ve felt for a long time which is how fucked up is it that they spend loads of money on all these classes and groups which are done by ppl who’ve no idea about the life of the prisoners they are “rehabilitating” to then release someone with nothing in place , almost pushing them back towards active criminality. Not every official wether it be police or judges or prison officers is like that I know but the sad fact is there’s ppl who wouldn’t think twice of judging you and other saying “ always going to happen” without hearing or seeing what really actually happened. This attitude in general of once a criminal always a criminal and the massive roadblocks in former prisoners road to changing is so wrong imo. For example when I watch the police programmes, interceptors etc and they stop someone and there’s not the drugs they thought they will openly say “we will get them for something” to me that’s so wrong, why not just say they didn’t have what we thought they did , that’s good. They don’t tho, they either give them a ticket for some part being 0.00001 inches to big or small or worse still they let them go but then actively spend time trying to find something bigger on them. It’s crazy , we don’t have enough homes , there’s ppl starving , yet we spend big money on jails and programmes then don’t actually give the prisoners a chance to change in some ways . The social works and others will bend over backwards to get an addict who isn’t trying to help themselves a flat and food and a job or just money ( I’m not saying addicts shouldn’t get help , however and I include myself when I say we have to want to help ourselves first) yet when someone bravely goes and says I’m changing my life and proves over time they mean it and opens up about emotions they get a month with a psychologist, told to look on line for self help and that’s it. I know from personal experience and from others that there are very many areas of mental health and trauma that are basically not covered by anyone in this country , that’s shocking, with the money spent on jails and wars we should at least be able to make sure there’s professionals who can help ppl deals with the trauma after said sentence or war. Rant over. Sorry folks , I just feel strongly on that.

I was last in Whitlawburn during lockdown,delivering food to Benmore Tower for Fareshare.Strange cos I was first raised in that Tower,thought I was going to die in that Tower due to addiction and here I was years later doing something positive for others. Like you ,at times my Behaviour was bad but deep down I wasn,t a Bad boy.Your videos had me reminiscing of times of old so thanks for that.🙂
I've been watching You Tube videos for many years. Every content producer I've ever watched has been plagued by nasty trolls. They try to pick up on anything you might be sensitive about, and make rude comments on that subject to make you feel bad. It doesn't matter how nice you are, they don't care. They get a kick out of it. I think the best way to deal with it is understand what they are about, and don't give them any satisfaction. So delete their comments and never talk about them ... if they can't get a rise out of you they move on. Nice storytelling.

You are 100% correct about analysing a typed comment, the way you will interpret it is fully dependant on the mood you are in👍 and also in the mood of the person who wrote it, that's why it is a good idea to add smileys etc to let the reader know where you are coming from if you know what I mean ? 😉
Even a semi colon in the wrong place or the absence of a full stop can totally throw me off 😅😅 I don't put to much stock into emojis to be fair but I get what you mean. Everyone is different and our brains interpret information differently.

Also, neighbours coulda called the cops and if they did and they came to the door and saw the state of the both of us, I woulda had a problem. I'm not putting myself in that position again. He's done it since I got out and it's not the first time we've fought. He stabbed me in the shoulder one time when we were drinking cos I went away to meet a lassie and left him. He just missed my neck but I ducked in time. I got the blade off him. I ripped it right out his hand and then he's blaming ME for cutting his hand. There's NO reasoning with someone who gets hurt with their own blade and blames YOU for getting cut. I know he's my brother and I do care about him but he's 42 year old and there's nothing I can do for him. He has to help himself first. As for the Internet gangsters, I don't even entertain that. Watching this and I picked up on a couple of things you said about keeping the pics incase police came and worried about if someone filmed you getting attacked but only from a certain point as it could be taken out of context . I’ve heard you say some other stuff on other videos too, how strong is this fear that something will happen and fuck things up and you will get lifted? It’s something I’ve never thought of , but I suppose this must be a common fear for ppl who have changed there life around , especially if they were violent because if they see you in any confrontation ppl can jump to conclusions , a leopard never changes its spots and all that crap.
I hope it’s something you can work on with your friends or a professional as I’d hate you to not be able to really do exactly what you want to with your life for fear of being wronged .
I keep learning from your vids and it ties in with something I’ve felt for a long time which is how fucked up is it that they spend loads of money on all these classes and groups which are done by ppl who’ve no idea about the life of the prisoners they are “rehabilitating” to then release someone with nothing in place , almost pushing them back towards active criminality. Not every official wether it be police or judges or prison officers is like that I know but the sad fact is there’s ppl who wouldn’t think twice of judging you and other saying “ always going to happen” without hearing or seeing what really actually happened. This attitude in general of once a criminal always a criminal and the massive roadblocks in former prisoners road to changing is so wrong imo.
For example when I watch the police programmes, interceptors etc and they stop someone and there’s not the drugs they thought they will openly say “we will get them for something” to me that’s so wrong, why not just say they didn’t have what we thought they did , that’s good. They don’t tho, they either give them a ticket for some part being 0.00001 inches to big or small or worse still they let them go but then actively spend time trying to find something bigger on them. It’s crazy , we don’t have enough homes , there’s ppl starving , yet we spend big money on jails and programmes then don’t actually give the prisoners a chance to change in some ways . The social works and others will bend over backwards to get an addict who isn’t trying to help themselves a flat and food and a job or just money ( I’m not saying addicts shouldn’t get help , however and I include myself when I say we have to want to help ourselves first) yet when someone bravely goes and says I’m changing my life and proves over time they mean it and opens up about emotions they get a month with a psychologist, told to look on line for self help and that’s it.
I know from personal experience and from others that there are very many areas of mental health and trauma that are basically not covered by anyone in this country , that’s shocking, with the money spent on jails and wars we should at least be able to make sure there’s professionals who can help ppl deals with the trauma after said sentence or war.
Rant over. Sorry folks , I just feel strongly on that.

I was last in Whitlawburn during lockdown,delivering food to Benmore Tower for Fareshare.Strange cos I was first raised in that Tower,thought I was going to die in that Tower due to addiction and here I was years later doing something positive for others.
Like you ,at times my Behaviour was bad but deep down I wasn,t a Bad boy.Your videos had me reminiscing of times of old so thanks for that.🙂

I've been watching You Tube videos for many years. Every content producer I've ever watched has been plagued by nasty trolls. They try to pick up on anything you might be sensitive about, and make rude comments on that subject to make you feel bad. It doesn't matter how nice you are, they don't care. They get a kick out of it. I think the best way to deal with it is understand what they are about, and don't give them any satisfaction. So delete their comments and never talk about them ... if they can't get a rise out of you they move on. Nice storytelling.

It must have been a phrase kicking around Glasgow at the time, as I’ve never heard it used in recent times. Rasputin was an interesting character from Russian history, he was known to have romanced ladies from Russian high society, including the Czarina (the Czar’s wife) He was famous for having a large dick, which was cut off when he was poisoned by Prince Yusipov. It took them ages to kill him as he was a tough character. Hence the joke name “rasputinswalloper”.

Yeah I was anxious that night cos he coulda hurt me badly. My son was at his Grandpa's so they woulda been the ones who found me the next day. NOT HAVING THAT. Also, neighbours coulda called the cops and if they did and they came to the door and saw the state of the both of us, I woulda had a problem. I'm not putting myself in that position again. He's done it since I got out and it's not the first time we've fought. He stabbed me in the shoulder one time when we were drinking cos I went away to meet a lassie and left him. He just missed my neck but I ducked in time. I got the blade off him. I ripped it right out his hand and then he's blaming ME for cutting his hand. There's NO reasoning with someone who gets hurt with their own blade and blames YOU for getting cut. I know he's my brother and I do care about him but he's 42 year old and there's nothing I can do for him. He has to help himself first.

The court system has always punished people on their past ,even though there is past sentences alongside previous convictions,your doing what you need to do big man ,for yourself and your wee man ,what your brother ended up with (sore face)is down his actions ,and your desire to live ,keep that distance but you will always care for him deepdown , do what you are doing for yourself snd your wee boy ,stay free big man .
Thank you very much! I do keep my distance now cos all I care about is my wee boy. My brother is beyond help. I've tried to help him a few times after I get out but he always ends up doing something. Funnily enough, he pressed my intercom buzzer earlier and asked if Karen was here (I don't know anyone by that name---his speech was very slurred!). I'll do ANYTHING to ensure I get to live my life with my son. ANYTHING. And I don't care who it what is standing in my way.
