Our D-Line and LBs will have to play lights out all season to give our secondary a chance at growth and development. It’s a big risk, but I’m willing to give it a season to pay off.
i hope i am wrong, but this man will ruin our season
when gus has the players he wants to execute his schemes he’s led some of the best defenses in the nfl. the problems are when he relies on all pressures coming from dline(which we should be able to do this year bc we got a beast dline) then u can have your pass coverage guys play more freely. gus had some of yhe best blitz packages but didnt use yhem often bc he wants his defense executed his way. i will say gus should be more agressive even if he had his dream dline. one more side note our defense didnt tackle as often, if we had tackled we’d limit most explosive plays that hapoened on us last year which our defense is built and schemed to prevent. defense should be fine but yes our season depends on gus
