the sad part about this that i think most people forget is that this was going to be live service according to the leaks iirc, and knowing how other live service games turned out it probably wouldn’t have turned out great in terms of micro transactions and an incomplete story
That’s what I’m saying. People aren’t understanding how expensive it is to maintain a game like this. With how much SM2 costs to develop one could only imagine how long this game could lasts without any sort of MTX or battlepass
If it’s so expensive to do, and so difficult to maintain then they should stick with the Wolverine and venom games there making and as there last game of the spiderman series do great web online and live off maintain that
@@alexlepage9456 correct they canceled the title the game just needs a new intro and new title, but it’s also a 50/50 the game might not come out due to how many spider games are being produced even with the wolverine, it would be best to finish Marvels Spiderman 2 and wolverine before hearing anything, but the game should be brought back up in 2026

After playing Spider-Man 2, if Sony gave up on live action, gave that right to Marvel, but kept the game and animation rights... They could really do something cool with the Spider-Verse and Game universes.
