Very good job as usually 👍👍👍 I went to the normandy DDay beaches last month and your diorama display a good scene...even if Shermans were few on DDay on Omaha
Thank you, Renaud.. This is just an unspecified beach, could be any of the US beaches. The main bit is the Sherman, a great kit from Heller, some nice detail.. I wasn't too keen on the tracks, but they're ok.. :)
Successful work, Rob. A great D-Day diorama. You have chosen good parts to create this nice scene. Everything fits well from the tank over the figures to the diorama. Good eye for the details! Best wishes, Joachim
Thank you... it's just a random, non-specific scene.. found a few bits in my spares that came in handy for debris and rubbish. The main feature is the tank, which is a really nice kit overall, apart from the tracks.. but I will definitely build more of those little Shermans.. :)
After my morning walk, I was delighted to see this video. Great work! Sherman tanks are the staple of allied power during WWII. You done justice by making this diorama. 😀😀
Glad to see you’re still making models Rob. I used to follow your content when I was about 12 years old. Am 25 years old now. Is your son doing any better by the way?
Yes, I'm still around... same old videos, haven't changed my editing much.. :) And yes, my son is still around, doing quite well, thank you for asking.. :)
Nicely done, and very poignant; especially the detail of the discarded soldiers' kit just ahead of the tank - presumably from the wave of men that preceded them. An appropriate tribute to the Allies who stormed Normandy's beaches eighty years ago this June. Though this looks pretty 'clean' for a tank in combat; I suspect this is due to it just having been 'washed' as it came ashore, and it would get dirtier as it advanced inland. This was a nice touch, Rob! I'm not familiar with this particular Heller model kit. Did it actually come with the wading stack assemblies, and the beach obstacles, or were these aftermarket . . . ? 14th Like.
Thank you.. and yes, you got it in one.. I didn't over weather the tank, as it was washed clean of any dust et.c. when wading ashore.. And yes, the kit comes with the wading stacks, you can build three different shermans, with or without wading stacks, different wheels and frionts. It is a nicely detailed kit.. You can also buy a kit with decals for French versions, I will build that set in due course.. The obstacles etc are from the Italeri Tank Obstacle set in 1/72 and the figures are from Zvezda..
A super little diorama, the Heller kit looks great and you have done a great job of it, thanks.
Thank you very much, Sir.. sorry for late reply.. :)
Superbly done, the Heller kit is a joy, and your build sequence from this video makes it seem so much easy. Thank you for sharing
Thank you.. and yes, it;'s not a bad kit, although the instructions could be clearer... )
I've seen it now. Nice work. Thanks for jumpin in. Much appreciated.
You are very welcome, I really enjoyed the build... :)

Nice little diorama Rob . Just goes to show that basic modelling can yield impressive results as this shows .
Basic modelling is my speciality... Thank you.. :)
A great 'D-Day' diorama, nice work!
Thank you very much, Phil.. :)

Thank you.. It's just a generic, unspecific scene from the invasion. The tank is a great little kit, I will definitely build more of those.. :)
nice build good to see still posting
Thank you.. I post when I have something to show.. :)
Very good work. That litlte diorama looks very nice. 👍👍, greetings from Portugal🙋♂
Thank you very much, I appreciate it.. :)

Wow, that was really fast - must be one of the first GB entries? And it looks great as well!
Thank you... and yes, I have a feeling I may have been first in, this time around. :) :)
Superb kit and nicely built Rob. I had no idea D-Day models were available.
Nice job there Rob 👍
Looks cool.
