did you say at the end that you can register the tag on both find my and the eufy app at the same time? I thought it was one or the other but I guess it might be useful to have it on both at the same time.
Yes you can register it with both eufy app and find my at the same time. I mostly just use find my, but for reverse find your phone then have to use the eufy app.
I put one of these tags in my car and everytime I drive away it starts beeping a few times even though I don't have left behind or lost mode enabled. I don't carry the iPhone I used to pair the devices with me as I normally use android. Obviously that;s going to alert a potential thief about the tag, I don't want to have to remove the speaker but if that's the only solution then maybe I will.
It’s the anti stalking function from Apple. When the tag moves along with an unknown phone, either iPhone or Android, it will make a sound because it could be some talker tagging you. I’m not sure if you can disable it though.
Did some research about it. You can try to put the tag further away from your android phone, such as in the trunk, then it won’t be close enough to trigger the alarm.
Thank you very much.
You are welcome! Glad that it’s helpful for you.

Thanks for your suggestions, I might try that but I reckon the only sure solution will be to remove the speaker if I want to use it for car security.
looks better than airtag
Air tag has better water resistance rating at IP67. Otherwise the SmartTrack Link is a better and cheaper choice.
