It is happening but with non attacking playing because Amorim will not accept selfishness and no service to his striker. Quite sure they will get told off on this things after matches. Have to notice the service was from mazrouai and ugarte who both doesn't play in front 3. The big problem still there, need Rashford, garnacho and Bruno to pass more to Hojlund.
Love these videos! I noticed Robbie Savage giving it stacks saying we shouldnt be playing with a line of 5 at the front at the end of the first half...then we score from it. I feel so positive that we have a coach who can control a game and not just stand with his hands in his pockets and putting on subs at 70+ mins. Perfect videos to go alongside a genius coach. Thanks!
@@habiladam6363 I get you. I think though that the difference here isnt the tactical things on their own. Ruben clearly understands the parts form the whole and i never really got that from eth. Top work as always. Malacia was a bit rusty in final third but showed what a left footed player providing width could give this team. I'm convinced Alvaro Fernandez would've had a field day yesterday in terms of space and delivery. Both Antony and Dalot struggled to provide this as they kept cutting inside. Glimt clearly watched the Ipswich game as they tried to corner United into one side of the pitch, but United switches were much better today. Am glad the players are finally feeding Højlund. His positioning was excellent yesterday. Ugarte, Mount and Mazraoui were very good yesterday too. What a difference having a high line in defence, pressing from the start as a team and feeding your striker make....
I don't think Malacia is cut out for this. Nor is Antony. Those positions need new players. But we've been saying that for a while. Even under Ten Hag. The midfield and the centre backs were also a problem. United got hit on the counter twice because Martinez and Bruno couldn't cope with the speed and positioning. Luke Shaw was way better. Maybe someone like Tomori could help. Let's raid AC Milan for their players. Theo Hernandez too. If the club can afford it.
Garnacho has to improve his decision making and weight of pass when crossing and he can soon look to compete within this squad. Brilliant game from the lads
Actually giving a good pass is never easier than having a good shot. It requests an even higher accuracy in terms of weight, direction and timing. Most fans ignore it simply because a shot is the last step of a goal. One might still get a goal even if the shot is not what he conceives of, but an inaccurate pass will most likely result in a possession lost or attack termination.
I agree he has to improve but he already has improved from his earlier days. He's a young guy learning as he goes. What I like about him is, in general, he wants to move the ball forward.
This is a really tactical observation and much of what I noticed during the game. Something I learnt from this game; Garnacho isn’t good enough to play in the 10 half space. The best options for those roles I feel will be mount and amad. Agree, he had a horrible time at MU so far, but I've seen what he can do at Ajax and I still believe he can become a solid player for us. Especially in a wing back role
Hojlund has one of the best convertion rate from shot to goals in Europe even with his restricted services provided since joining united. Imagine how many goals he can have if garnacho,Rashford,Bruno do create more for him. Hopefully they do create more for him.
That just requires a bit more of mobility of the double pivot and of the inside forwards *Garnacho doesn't shift sideways when covershadowed nor makes double movements to receive a ball and turn* I mean he's not used to that position but when you see a guy like Mount play there he's basically in his sauce. I still think Garnacho should get used to play a hybrid role like Frimpong at Bayer where he plays as a wingback, but tracks back as a midfielder and on the attack/counter attack animation is basically a winger.
If luke shaw is fit, the final puzzle will be complete. I would still put ganarcho on left AM, he pace and behind the ball movement is fantastic. He is still young, with proper coaching on finishing , decision making and passing, he would get better.

I am a Martinez fan but he will get caught out if Malacia who is faster was done for pace then Martinez will get found out. Amorim is smart. With the formation, he created diamond shapes everywhere all over the field. Just that the players need to learn to move and position themselves better.
The only strategy i didn't agree with was forcing Casemiro as a CB in the 2nd half when he replaced De ligt. Although he made a good block late in the game, he was definitely slow to react to fast opposition attackers. I think Ruben is still not sure what to do with him😅
I think i know why he did that, If you were to look at the changes he made, it was for players that easily gets injured, easily gets niggling injuries or those who just returned from injury. We see that on all top clubs having multiple short term or long term injuries. If he has ANY other CB, he would definitely use them but unfortunately, we don't and to not have De Ligt getting muscle injury, he was forced to sub Case on. In my opinion, very clever of Amorim to change tactically in games and the issue with injuries, he doesn't want to risk it.
We need to sign more midfielders and more attacking players. Stop buying "perfect" centerbacks. We will concede goals. But the question is can we score goals?
I think man united will learn the attacking really quick has we can see.. the main problem I think it's defending with this formation they have to press as soon ha they loose the ball , pretty much the center back will start pressing from the middle of the pitch.. If they start understanding that soon then man united will be very dangers I both sides
Would prefer to use Antony as a left wing back that’s instructed to stay wide and made to practice crossing all week or give Amass a shot. Malacia isn’t good enough, Dalot isn’t good enough. Shaw should be saved for LCB cover.
Amorim is proving his worth before he can be accepted as family but we're glad he's here for long-term! Team for the long-term is Onana/ Bir, Yoro, DeLigt/Evans, Martinez/Inàcio, Shaw/Fernandez, Casemiro/Bruno, Ugarte/Mainoo, Mauzauri, Amad/Antony/Dibling, Hojlund/Zirkzee & Rashford/Gernacho Let go Maguire, Eriksen, Bruno, Marceia & Dalot in next window
According to the books Man United have borrowed 100£ mil and have now set aside 149,6£ mil for the next transfer window. Were Amorin is going to strengthen we all know, thats LWB. But why we looked a little poor in defence is all down to Bodø Glimt. They have crushed big teams before and not just one or two goals. They beat Roma 6-1 at Alfheim stadium and Porto 3-1, Celtic 3-1 and home in Norway they beat opponents 6-1, 6-0 and 8-1 all the time. They are also the best Cup team in Norway with the biggest win out of all teams, and thats all down to their transitions and team play. We all know wich players going to be moved on and sold this season. Maguire, Lindelöf, Eriksen, Evans and Casemiro are most likely to be sold. I love Casemiro, but the legs of Eriksen and Casemiro is gone. Casemiro is the kind of player I would keep in the squad, but if he get sold Im not surprised. Then we have players like Antony and Diallo! Both of them struggles to adapt to Amorins style of play, but were still early on. There is one more player left and thats Marcus Rashford! We saw some situations were he was able to get in between the line, but as Amorin said in the presser. Marcus must want it himself and buy saying that, he have seen something he dont like. The same as we have. I said this a long time now that ever since he signed a new contract he have lacked passion and spirit. Him on his best is good enough for United, but thats not what were getting from him. 5-8 goals a season for a guy thats on 350.000£ a week is more than poor and if the club keeps him its as poor of a decision as keeping Ten Hag so he could use 200.000.000£ on players.
Diallo? Diallo suits the system. Do you mean Dalot? I think he's a handy squad player. Agree on the rest though. But moving them all on for decent money will be tough. I'd keep Rashford for now. Until a few academy graduations can supplant him. That's the only thing that's kept him here. I think had Greenwood come through without controversy, Rashford would have been let go already.
Garnacho is better suited to be wingback personally. Would want to see a Garnacho, bruno/rashford (made few runs behind which I really liked) left hand side with amad/dalot and mount right side, especially chasing games.. also we need more switch of play, strecth the pitch with overloads..we saw how good this was when casemiro came in and ugarte had more time on the ball. Martinez and De ligt dont do that which is to me one of our strengths!! (Victor and Harry for all critics were decent at it)
Aside Bruno, the entire pitch are Ten Hag's players. Even though it didn't work out for him, I do feel he created a foundation for Amorim to build upon. Hope TH does well in his next tenure
i think delap would be perfect for this system. a cheaper option that could provide serious competition to hojlund and not to mention he is english. i know everyone probably wants a proven striker who will score 20+ goals but i think between the 2 of them they could score enough but also develop into lethal strikers in the future
Amorim suppose to be playing CB: Mazraoui, Leny Yoro and Deligt DM: Ugarte, Koby Mainoo Am: Bruno, Mount ST: Rasmus Hojlund Wing: Garnacho, Rashford Simple
@@cjmorton8631 Deligt is suffering from CBs that are short and as slow, non- athletic as he is. He has the experience. He needs yoros athleticism. Yoro is like Cubarsi of Barcelona and probably even better
Mazrouai is our best player. Onana can’t make simple saves. Garnacho needs to be more clinical and have better decision making. Bruno plays too negatively as holding mid. Ugarte is very important to us and definitely preferred over Casemiro. Rashford is useless, Mount is good for this system. Malacia and Dalot is shit. Shaw better stay fit GGMU under Amorim!
I hope Yoro integrates into the starting 11 soon, pushing Maz to RWB which frees Amad to play as no 10 and garnacho as LWB! I really want to see how that works!!
@ Then what are the two players who play behind the striker in half spaces called? If it’s something different then my mistake, that’s what I meant! One of the attacking midfielders alongside Bruno/mount!
This passing network to me says a bad picture to me, when back 5 players account for nearly 60% passes this tells a different story.. (121+100+85+79+65) and bruno quality is wasted as deep two.. while mount and hojlund are simply isolated (40 passes between them) both were doing excellent off ball work. This teams goes as far as bruno takes them.. we are not ready for youth takeover given chances missed by selfish and immature Garnacho ("best" player to many) Diallo and Shaw introduction changes the game to me. This method is simply chaotic even for a weaker opposition with just poor players. Arsenal game will tell where this team goes.. (A Thumping awaits if this the method - madness)
@doa1377 idea to break low block is actually to have bruno higher in half space and have a casimiro sparying passes.. not malacia or dalot as part of front 5
I hope the rashford stans have realised by now that the only contribution he has to this team is to hold them back with his lethargic off the ball efforts in every phase of the game, even when he is only playing half an hour off the bench. If you think i'm hating, just watch the last 30 mins of yesterday's match and follow his movements, or the lack thereof.
Yeah I understand but majority of the audience want videos that last less than 15 minutes Therefore, looking at the OOP side of the game (28% of the match) seems fairly logical, it will also allow me to go into more detail
Against a slightly better side Utd would have lost easily. Too easy to carve open. Bruno's days are numbered, still all over the pitch, Garnacho is a waste of space. rashford well its time to cash in while we can. Oh and let's not forget our 3rd goal was definitely offside, how that was given I dont know. Very Lucky.

Stop buying "perfect" centerbacks. We will concede goals.
But the question is can we score goals?
ruben amorim.. amorim... ruben amorim... jalalalalalalalala
The centre backs need to trust the midfielders more
For me the most important thing Ruben did was to make Bruno play from deeper in the middle, because hes useless in that 10.
Do you think Yoro/Maz, Maguire/De Ligt, Shaw/Licha are good enough options for that backline going into next season?
Where was Luke Shaw? He is usually quite a technician for United at the left wing when his legs are working.
we need to talk about Garnacho he doesnt fit. and dalot I dont like him at left wingback. bruno looked good in midfield and mount also looked good
also would like a video on the defensive change
I think man united will learn the attacking really quick has we can see.. the main problem I think it's defending with this formation they have to press as soon ha they loose the ball , pretty much the center back will start pressing from the middle of the pitch..
If they start understanding that soon then man united will be very dangers I both sides
Would prefer to use Antony as a left wing back that’s instructed to stay wide and made to practice crossing all week or give Amass a shot. Malacia isn’t good enough, Dalot isn’t good enough. Shaw should be saved for LCB cover.
We need defenders with 100 pace to play this system comfortably
What did you think of Bruno deeper? The community poll got it right!
Was impressed, a much more disciplined performance from him.
I thought you'll never give your thought on it
I wae expecting it since last night
Can you gives us an report on Antony is he good @ playing as an RWB or they will put him on loan which is it ❓
they beat a good sunday league team and boom man united is elite.
Amorim is proving his worth before he can be accepted as family but we're glad he's here for long-term!
Team for the long-term is Onana/ Bir, Yoro, DeLigt/Evans, Martinez/Inàcio, Shaw/Fernandez, Casemiro/Bruno, Ugarte/Mainoo, Mauzauri, Amad/Antony/Dibling, Hojlund/Zirkzee & Rashford/Gernacho
Let go Maguire, Eriksen, Bruno, Marceia & Dalot in next window
Seems like shaw and martinez are gonna share LCB duties… does shaw have a chance to be a LWB?
How ruben will survive when the opponent nullify wingback and midfield, Chelsea had kovacic ,jorginho, kante to beat the press under 343
Opposition getting "sucked really narrow"...Maz the "phenomenal ball caresser"...phew! It's getting hot in here...
🤣
❤
Where is our little gem called Kobbie Maino going to fit at this system?
You are wrong, the key factor was VAR as always gifting victory to manu.
Bring on the defensive concerns...good work though
Cover the defensive concerns
Nypan would be an ideal Bruno replacement
amir ibragimov as well
@@yorubasamurai3109 could have gotten him earlier and have him a club grown academy player.
If rashford, garancho and amad are nutrient pass to hujland infront of goals he will scor more goals .
The problem with United is the players they not really hungry some of them need to go the manager need to change something
Even Antony played well 😂
Garnacho is better suited to be wingback personally.
Amorim suppose to be playing
CB: Mazraoui, Leny Yoro and Deligt
DM: Ugarte, Koby Mainoo
Am: Bruno, Mount
ST: Rasmus Hojlund
Wing: Garnacho, Rashford
Simple
Amad also
@@cjmorton8631 he's the perfect sub for Gardnacho, Rashford and Hojlund.
@@cjmorton8631 Deligt is suffering from CBs that are short and as slow, non- athletic as he is. He has the experience. He needs yoros athleticism. Yoro is like Cubarsi of Barcelona and probably even better
Wow !! United beat a team 3 - 2 at Old Trafford that nobody had actually heard of before, finally turned the corner - not…. Lol
8:40 make the vid
Mazrouai is our best player.
Onana can’t make simple saves.
Garnacho needs to be more clinical and have better decision making.
Bruno plays too negatively as holding mid.
Ugarte is very important to us and definitely preferred over Casemiro.
Rashford is useless, Mount is good for this system.
Malacia and Dalot is shit.
Shaw better stay fit
GGMU under Amorim!
The coach should stop explaining his tactics to the press.
Sancho will be good here, but his attitude is bad…
Put this name far off this squad. Let Chelsea be relishing on his numerous assignments and straight words from his coach😂
You're so right he will be good on the bench next to the fans, to watch us play.
I hope Yoro integrates into the starting 11 soon, pushing Maz to RWB which frees Amad to play as no 10 and garnacho as LWB! I really want to see how that works!!
What no 10 are you talking about?😂😂
There's no 10 in this system
@ Then what are the two players who play behind the striker in half spaces called? If it’s something different then my mistake, that’s what I meant! One of the attacking midfielders alongside Bruno/mount!
Inside forwards@@aayushagrawal8476
ffs you only beat a pub side lol
(A Thumping awaits if this the method - madness)
it was a low block mate
@doa1377 idea to break low block is actually to have bruno higher in half space and have a casimiro sparying passes.. not malacia or dalot as part of front 5
I hope the rashford stans have realised by now that the only contribution he has to this team is to hold them back with his lethargic off the ball efforts in every phase of the game, even when he is only playing half an hour off the bench. If you think i'm hating, just watch the last 30 mins of yesterday's match and follow his movements, or the lack thereof.
The decision will by made in the summer, don't worry, you'll get your wish
@ one can only hope
Onana should had a red card for his handball. Scripted game.
How about you discuss other coaches
Or be a coach
First❤
If thats his tactics in action then we're proper fucked.
u played against minnows in sweden 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Norway. And that Norwegian team was higher than united in the table until last night.
@scottsinner7530 shows the level of manU 🤣🤣🤣
So you do a video about the game against Bodo Glimpt, but you need another video to explain what the manager did in the second half? Come on now lad
Yeah I understand but majority of the audience want videos that last less than 15 minutes
Therefore, looking at the OOP side of the game (28% of the match) seems fairly logical, it will also allow me to go into more detail
@AJAnalysis fair enough. Looking forward to it anyways
Very Lucky.
Dalot is good???!!! Are you daft? We need him out and trade for Davies as a LB. Also trade Maguire and Lindelof.
Wonderful manners.
Let me guess, missus left you, boss kicked you out of job, never had either to start with?
@ You’re an arrogant twat and need manners. What a dick.
Low 2 tier scandinavien team, there was levels between thesse team, that untied let 2 goals in with so much " control " ingame says it all
Low 2 tier level team that has won 4 out the last 5 league championships with the same manager who have beaten Spurs, who have beaten Porto who have beaten Roma. Give them some respect. A well coached and drilled team
@jaysonmacmillan7503 even tho they play compact, got a good organisation, united defense looked weak. But yes I asume United just got hard times and many excuses when facing teams from Scandinavia.
@@jaysonmacmillan7503 Their entire squad is worth less than half the fee United paid for Antony and United fans are acting like they've beaten prime Real Madrid.
@Qlicky So what? They also a well coached side who should be respected. You can only beat the team in front of you. This team has beaten Spurs, Roma and Porto. They not pushovers. The disrespect is disgusting.
@@Qlicky his on the Moon and more confused then scoobydoo, dont bother with him 🤣
delulu fans thinking united beat Barcelona or something.
