While I’m not upgrading to the iPhone 14 simply because I have a 13 Pro Max. I did choose the Pro Max because of size and battery life and I have not been disappointed. Thanks for all your videos Aaron , always look forward to them.
Had the 11/12/13 Pro Max and decided to go with the 14 Pro this year. Love the size and comfort in my hand. Only con is battery life but it gets me through the day.
I got the 14 Pro Max in Space Black, 512GB. The Space Black just looks so sleek, and I was happy that they’re making the phone darker than just the regular Graphite. Love the battery life and screen size of the Pro Max. It’s truly amazing!

I have a 12 pro max, loved it, bought a 14 pro max. I think the size is perfect at home or in a working day. Little to big for a stroll in the city. the positives outnumber the negatives
We will both upgrade to the 14 Pro Max. My wife chooses to use the larger format screen over her laptop for most daily use and I don't find he size too large to fit in my front pants pocket. We are using the annual Upgrade plan so getting the next new iphone doesn't require comparing the amount or quality of annual improvemnts. If we were to buy an iPhone outright, we would keep our current 13 Pro Max versions because they do everything we need. And, we would have kept even our 11 until it no longer functioned. Each annual Upgrade has meant paying the same amount monthly for the past three years, or so. Since we don't mind the on-going monthly payment, changing each year is not reliant on any massive product improvement. Our phones remain under Apple Care+ and we gain any improvements as a matter of course.

Hi Aaron. Good video pointing out the differences. I was using an LG v30 for many years until recently. The roaming worked intermittently coupled with the desire to have the best camera in a smartphone influenced me to purchase my first iPhone, the 14 pro. Now, that I have had it for a few days, I am going to exchange it and go for the Pro Max. I need the battery life and bigger screen. I was first concerned about portability, hence my decision to purchase the 14 Pro but now I have decided the battery life and bigger screen/text is more important for my use cases (work productivity, reading, watching videos a lot).
After somewhat uncharacteristically holding on to my previous iPhone (an 11 Pro) far longer than usual, as I didn't find any of the 12's or 13's features in any way compelling, I picked up a Space Black 14 Pro. Since the Max phones came along, I've always preferred the smaller, 6.1" size, as the larger version is uncomfortable in my hand and seems ridiculous to me, akin to holding an iPad Mini up to one's face. I've had the 14 Pro since launch day and think it's just fine. I turned off the 'Always On' screen, as I don't see the point. If I'm not using my phone, it's either in my pocket or sitting on my desk. Time and notifications are readily visible on both my iMac and Apple Watch, so there's no point to incurring the extra battery drain. While the 48 MP ProRAW images are very good - and I'll certainly make use of the capability at times - I usually carry one of my Leicas and those images nearly always look better to me. All of that said, I heartily recommend the 14 Pro, especially for anyone still living with an 11 or older version.
Colors…the first thing you mentioned. I can’t imagine what difference it makes. Does one color function better than another? Of course not. 90% of people are going to cover it up anyway. People amaze me.

I have a 12 Pro and just got my wife a 14 ProMax, I really like the big phone and the extra battery life would be nice but I’ve gone for walks now with her phone in my pocket and it just feels gigantic. My next new phone will probably not be a 6.7” version.
Also, if you used the dynamic island, you maybe realized that on the big phone it's quite unwieldy (having to reach the top of the screen is pretty annoying). I bet that this new feature becomes more useful on the regular 14 pro if it can be used one handed.

Wanted a 14 Pro Max so bad but I’ve been reading about all these problems with the eSIM shutting phone down and people not being able to use their phones also camera issues and transfer issues where once transfer is complete it tells you you don’t have enough storage. Also problems w the dynamic island 🤦🏻♀️ Too many issues for me to give up my 11 Pro Max now.

I don’t get why so many people want a pro max. It’s a heavier phone which is not good. It’s got bigger battery life. I had a 12 and it didn’t last long. This 14 pro lasts me all day. It’s perfect.
14 Pro is a failure if you consider AOD eating into the already noticeably worse battery life compared to a 14Pro Max, also the 14 Pro Max has better thermal distribution which gives it higher CPU and GPU clock speeds which is a HUGE difference if you’re trying to buy the latest and greatest phone thinking you have the fast speeds on a 14 Pro when they are tuned down for thermals.
Yea keep the phone I used to have the 13 pro max too and I recently upgraded to the 14 pro max , it doesn’t really feel different considering the fact I barely use the dynamic island and camera.

I use my 8 gen iPad more than my phone..I’d probably get the regular 14 pro…am on the fence about the Samsung galaxy s22 ultra..and possibly getting it for 800.00 or less by Black Friday..it’s weight sounds more manageable..

I upgraded from the iPhone 13 Pro to the iPhone 14 Pro Max because of the 48MP camera, the color and the battery size. I have no regrets and will skip getting the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup. I’m happy with my iPhone 14 Pro Max and will never get tired of it.
got the 14 pro max. sold it after a week and got the regular pro. Pro max - What a design fail phone! Unfortunately apple has no idea how to make big phones correctly. Nor they have the software for it. A huge size phone like that with the back button in the upper left?? also the dynamic island way up?? Conclusion - if one wants a big phone it has to be android.

Got the 14 pro at launch after holding onto the regular iPhone 11 since launch. I got the regular 14 pro cuz i like the “compact” size since having the 11. I knew the 13 pro was good but knew the 14 pro would be much better in terms of photography and battery so i waited till then. Best phone i have ever purchased since having the iPhone Xr.
I can kill my 14 pro max by the afternoon with normal minimal use with 120hz & always display on with no wallpaper & get no where near 10+ hours screen on time unless I do a quick top up but I had to try hard to kill my 14 plus in a day

I came from a normal 13 so I just went with the pro model and to me it’s alr kinda heavy like I could actually feel it so I can’t imagine the weight of the pro max but yes the pro max does have better battery life and that bigger screen is definitively awesome 🥹
I"m a 6ft male. I tried the 13 pro max twice hoping I'd get used to its massive size. It was impossible. The max is just a massive, extremely heavy, unwieldy, uncomfortable brick. Very few people don't have access to a charger at some point during the day, so the battery life is moot. Screen size is nice, but I have an iPad. Went with 13 pro and now 14 pro and absolutely happy and zero regrets. Feels like a phone rather than a heavy, uncomfortable brick.
@@aleczr6I am used to the size because I typically prefer large Android phones, but the weight is noticeable, especially when wearing sweatpants or shorts. I know stainless steel is suppose to provide the sense of a more premium phone, but it would be nice if it was closer to the weight of the 14 plus.

Got the 14 pro at launch after holding onto the regular iPhone 11 since launch. I got the regular 14 pro cuz i like the “compact” size since having the 11. I knew the 13 pro was good but knew the 14 pro would be much better in terms of photography and battery so i waited till then. Best phone i have ever purchased since having the iPhone Xr.

I got 14+ but i dont like volume to the left and back botton all the way up there worse to the left😢😅
I can kill my 14 pro max by the afternoon with normal minimal use with 120hz & always display on with no wallpaper & get no where near 10+ hours screen on time unless I do a quick top up but I had to try hard to kill my 14 plus in a day
After two weeks now with my iphone 14 pro, it still has not even as good battery life than my 12 pro and I still dont know why?
I went with pro max simply because there is no pro max ultra jumbo😂 have been a max user since max started. Incremental price but significant advantages
I did an early upgrade and traded in my 12 PM for a Deep Purple 14 PM. I love the bigger screen and battery on the Pro Max models. I have sausage fingers so I need that bigger screen, haha.

At home I have something called smart tv for UA-cam and Netflix,and for games I have a gaming pc,so I don't need a big ass brick in my pocket.
I'm not a fan of 1 device for everything cuz when you run out of battery then you are dead in the water.
Kinda regret not getting the 13 Pro Max, next year I’m jumping to the 15 Pro Max if I plan on upgrading next year to the 15 Pro Max, idk yet.
I just purchased iPhone 14 Pro Max. I have the latest beta 16.2 beta 1 on my 13 Pro Max that I plan to transfer to the new 14 pro Max. Not able to do it due to having 16.1 on the 14 pro max.

I came from a normal 13 so I just went with the pro model and to me it’s alr kinda heavy like I could actually feel it so I can’t imagine the weight of the pro max but yes the pro max does have better battery life and that bigger screen is definitively awesome 🥹
I"m a 6ft male. I tried the 13 pro max twice hoping I'd get used to its massive size. It was impossible. The max is just a massive, extremely heavy, unwieldy, uncomfortable brick. Very few people don't have access to a charger at some point during the day, so the battery life is moot. Screen size is nice, but I have an iPad. Went with 13 pro and now 14 pro and absolutely happy and zero regrets. Feels like a phone rather than a heavy, uncomfortable brick.

idk how people are having problems with the size, idk if my hands are bigger than average but the pro is too small for me lol
@@aleczr6I am used to the size because I typically prefer large Android phones, but the weight is noticeable, especially when wearing sweatpants or shorts. I know stainless steel is suppose to provide the sense of a more premium phone, but it would be nice if it was closer to the weight of the 14 plus.

that's when people should be upgrading their phones, people complain that there aren't many new changes year over year but upgrading every 3-5 years is perfect as smartphones are beginning to plateau, congrats on your new phone and ill be upgrading my XR for the 14 pro max later this month when it arrives

Finally I decided for the Iphone 14 Pro Max, best fking decision ever!! The size is not as bad as ppl say and the big screen is AWESOME, also the battery last me 2 complete days :D
