Used to live in Mawgan Porth and loved it. That was a long time ago when the Bed Steps Hotel was small and very different. So many more houses now but the beach was great and a 2 minute walk from our house so we spent a lot of time on it, all year round. We were there at the time of the Torrey Canyon disaster in 1967 and spent weeks trying to rescue birds. Miss those days lots of memories 😢
Hi Nick 👋🏼 thanks for watching. Sounds like you had a wonderful time in Mawgan Porth, it’s really gone up in popularity in recent years, quite a few well known people have bought property here which is adding to the attraction. Wonder what your old place would be worth now??
Apparently last sold in 2020 for £950,000 current valuation £1.3-1.6 million. I think my parents sold it for £8,000 😢
Another good review, the view from hotel window is great, it's looks like a fine hotel and the sunrise and sunset shots are very good ,

i’m a teenager and have been going to mawgan porth since i was a toddler. it’s such a gorgeous place with lovely people, it’s sad how much it’s being urbanised recently though.

@@cjexplores i hope so! some of the buildings have been there for decades, it breaks my heart that they’re being knocked down to build apartments
