I didn't know you were stuck behind me smh. Lol. Nevertheless, thanks for pulling over for the old man. Unlike other racers who look back and roost the $%@! out of you for no reason then being caught. Glad we had a fun trail ride. Look forward to more with you VP.
Nice clip at the start man you guys were movin. Brings back memories of my days in D37 in the 90's with the Shammies. Teagle wash especially. That was the place where I pulled off a holeshot on an 89 KDX with a Klemm 240 kit. It was the Novices but what a rush.
You have gotten so good, you're really flying out there!! I raced out there between 1984-1988, went from 64 to 32 to 13 to 9 then broke my tib, fib, knee and ankle and spent a year in a cast. Tell the Vikings and Ned McNabb and his boys I said 'Hello' :) and anybody else old enough out there to remember me.... LOL Lisa
Excellent venue and off the hook riding ability. That is what I call a classic desert race. Lot of elevation changes with tall and steep hills. Well do 👍
That bike looks so stable at speed. Very excited to hear your thoughts on it. The Beta brand has always been interesting to me but I’ve stuck with Austrian brands when it came time to purchase.
Suspension is box stock - not a single clicker touched. We set the sag and went racing. I'll have a report on the bike and how it worked on DirtBikeTest.com later this week.
Trevor you might try adding a link to the chain and backing up the axle for desert. Also try removing the inner spring from the power valve and it's mount, and backing the adjuster all the way out flush for max low end and smoothest transition.
The more things change the more they stay the same. I raced the desert in the 70s on husky 250 and 400 always wanted to run B to V but living in Colorado never got the chance
Sitting here in Ireland watching this and it's total opposite to what we have 😄. The 250 Beta is a fantastic bike, you can really open it up and be in control. How many miles is the course?
Just to race the 250 class since the 300 would have to race against 450’s. But if I wasn’t trying to race the 250 class I would for sure go with the 300. The added torque is really fun to ride and works really well
Copy that thank you. District 37 didn’t give you a bad time about “something” mounted to your helmet? I’m racing King of the Motos next weekend and trying to figure out the best mounting spot. I’ve always used on the chin. Maybe just run the chin mount till someone tells me to remove it.
Overall very good. It could benefit greatly from some suspension work to go at Pro level speed and a stabilizer but it’s a bike I wouldn’t mind racing in the desert

That was a great video, you should publish a full RAW video so us hard core viewers can see the whole course, that was beautiful terrain
That will come out on Thursday morning! I have about 90 minutes of footage before the battery died.
@@TrevorHunter224 how the heck did you get 90min of footage out of a single go pro battery?
Red Mountain brings back some great memories and always a cool place to ride/ race... 1989-90 with Jack Rabbits M/C 👍
DESERT DIGGER HERE ! 1984 - 91
mad man. hare and hound racing is always nuts to watch!
Insane speeds...absolutely insane!!!

Thanks for posting. You make the stuff i ride so slow look so easy. Good ride.

I haven't raced since losing my leg in moto accident
This gives me a woody to line up again ❤
The way you powered through the rain rut 😬 you're a bad mofo thanks for the content! Hope i see you this March snag a signature

Probably not stock suspension - but agree the bike looks amazing. Great rider!

@@TrevorHunter224 Thanks man. You rode amazing!
That was a great start till it turned to poop..lol , great riding, thanks for sharing
I missed my turn off to the right and ended up goign down the trail I had never been before...

Man Trevor!! Did you run that race without a damper? That front end was dancing!! As always great job young man!!

Wow! Good times!
fair play brother

How many miles is the course?
This race was two different 40 mile loops
Great racing man. Very calculated and smooth. Why do you choose the 250 over the 300? I'm in market for a beta race edition not sure which to go with.

What GoPro mount are you using? Excellent footage!
A GoPro Hero 11 Mini with a standard mount under my helmet visor

No they don’t really enforce that rule much
Thank you for the reply.
Hey Trevor, what gear did you start in at Checkers? 🏁
I believe I started in 1st, but it could’ve been 2nd
👌
💥👍🏻💥
How did you like the beta?
Overall very good. It could benefit greatly from some suspension work to go at Pro level speed and a stabilizer but it’s a bike I wouldn’t mind racing in the desert
I see red trail markers but what do the blue ones mean?
They mean “This will hurt you!”.
Blue is for danger
Do you know maverick
You being stuck behind the other rider [ before fuel] gave me an idea.
Thanks. ❤
2 strokes rule
Beta engine sounds not strong but bloody turf as nails
