If this feature is added to PrimeVue, trust me, I could switch to using PrimeVue in my incoming projects for my clients and my own. Unstyled components are a game changer!
Thrilled to see this soon! Thanks for including Tailwind, it will be very useful to me because I use both in all my projects and it was a bit tedious to make it work together
This is big. Thanks for this update! The #1 reason I prefer tailwind on primevue is the vscode extension. If PrimeFlex had a vscode extension that that would be great too.
@@cagataycivici awesome you guys are focussing on unstyled aka headless components ability, Angular is lacking on that part and would be a gamechanger 🔥
I would love to see an officially supported Tailwind version of Lara; I think Tailwind’s PurgeCSS capabilities could greatly improve the file size while also only importing the styling necessary for the components used in the parent app.
I'm planning to buy a Apollo or Atlantis template, may I buy it now and will it have the option to use Tailwind as soon as you launch? Or should I wait for the launch?
PassThrough are done, we're working on unstyled mode these days, plan to complete it by end of June with Tailwind theme as a built-in example to kickstart.
@@cagataycivici Wow I came here just to ask the same question. Great news! I'd really like to have it as soon as possible to make an objective review and compare the pro's and con's with Nuxt Labs UI.
Wow, primevue is such an elegant ui framework from a design and technical point of view! I discovered it recently and I already love it!

Excitedly and joyfully waiting
Tailwind and CSS Variables are definitely the way to go! When might this get released?
We're aiming end of May so need around 4 weeks to bring it to all of the components.

That's exactly the plan 😎
@@cagataycivici LETS GOOOO 🎉🎉🎉
Very exciting since a lot of Nuxt seem to pushing Tailwind hard.

Templates do not depend on Tailwind or PrimeFlex directly, main layout is custom css based so can be used with any CSS lib.
Waiting for this using a !important approach is a pain
Unstyled mode removes the default styles so you won't need !important in TW.
Thanks 👍
Vue's ecosystem lacks of top ui frameworks. Hope PrimeVue could fight against React's Radix/Maintine/Shadcnui.
I think it is up to PrimeReact.
Is there any new information about when it will be updated?

@@darkbluewalther With all due respect to all other UI libraries for Vue, PrimeVue will be light years ahead of any alternative very soon.
@@cagataycivici Hahaha, love that answer! I have high expectations now!
So the tailwind default theme was never developed?
It is around 3/4 done, planned for a near future releaes.
@@cagataycivici when the future is coming?
@@user-wn2gx1zx2bIn 2-3 weeks.
