our library is using the after hours returns slot; you can reserve books online and they phone you to make a time and you pick up new books from outside the door
Wow. You had a great reading month. I had a slow start to March but I did pace up at the end. Station 11 sounds interesting, specially considering the present times.
We have watched your channel for years and appreciate your insightful reviews. You are smart, beautiful and you are loved by many of us like a special close friend. Thank you for your videos especially now when we all need our friends. Keep smiling and shining your light.
I am truly impressed and both the amount and the weight ( seriousness) of the books you have read, Helene! I am totally the opposite, as light and entertaining as possible ( much Moomin rereading here). Some good tips for when I feel like more challenging reads tho, always great to have a video from you 😊
Hi, Helene, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for you, for reading such so many very different books and telling us! At this time I’ve also different categories of books: comfort reads (I capture the castle by Dodie Smith), dystopian ( The eyes of the darkness by Dean Koontz), biographies (I’ll pick up the book you proposed about healing through books) and cozy crime (I ordered the newest book of Penny Louise) and some books about health from the library. It’s closed and they sent me a message, that they prolonged automatically until May 5th. Although I’m sad for all the heavy workers and suffering people (and a bit sad for myself, not seeing the people I love, not seeing Denmark just now as usual), I try to keep up the good spirits by reading. Thank you for helping me with this. Love from Germany, Monika❣️
I loved Station Eleven when I read it a few years ago. I’ve found myself thinking about it over the past few weeks for obvious reasons but I don’t think I’m brave enough to reread it as you have done!
Indeed, the only thing about this quarantine is the amount of books we can read! I also read Station Eleven this month but it had the opposite effect on me, it left me feeling really anxious which is a good thing because it meant the writing was really really good. I’m so glad you loved Stephen King’s book because I was interested but most times with Stephen King I am intrigued at the beginning and then don’t care for the ending. I remember you mentioning the same thing in one of your vlogs, so this comfort me and I’ll now give it a go! Such a good video as always, I’m so glad you came back on booktube
Station Eleven seems really interesting, I like post-apocalyptic books and virus books right now. I finished Scythe in march as well and really enjoyed it, I picked up Thunderhead recently so I am excited to read more of the series.
Another great video, thank you! Our libraries are also closed, but they automatically extended the loan due times. I'm sure your library will do the same thing. Or at least not fine you when returning the books 😊
Helene, I just love your reviews. They provide knowledge and peace of mind. You are so authentic, maybe that's why your channel and Seus (don't know if it is like that or like the Greek God Zeus) are among my favourites. I have taken some of your recommendations and read them, thank you !. NOW, would you make a video, to share with all of us how all the things that you learn and enjoy in reading affect, or influence your daily life. Not work, I mean , how you are , in terms of your conversations, or friends and mindset and how you view life. I don't mean to be intrusive, I am looking more towards understanding the pros and cons of so many experiences in your head, how do you process that and how that influences your surroundings. This would be I think a great video, THKS and Greetings from Mexico City. ! Maritza.
Jakarta Pandemic by Steven konkoly it is eriely so close to what is happening now.I read it 4 years ago and I am re reading it now. It is in Kindle and in paperback. I hope you will give it a try.

Thanks for another great video, and the ideas of what to read next 💛
I just bought The Flatshare for 99p on Kindle, so I'm really excited to get to it when I need a fuzzy comfort read :)
Oh, thanks for the tip, I just did too!
Tanks for another great video, Helene! Welcome back wrap-ups!

Wow! Very interesting vlog. Very helpful in these times.
My library has a book chute on the side of the building to return books...maybe that's not available everywhere and maybe not during these times.
I missed that... So much 😢 😍

Great recommendations I think I’m going to order the institute. I was also surprisingly pleased with the flat share
Am in awe of your amazing voice ❤️
I also enjoyed The Flatshare.
Helene, what are the books behind you on your right on the top shelf? Can you please let me know the titles. Really charming and beautiful. Thanks.
I think they’re the Vintage russian classics, they include titles such as Anna Karenina, War and Peace, Crime and Punishment ..
Great selection ! A lot of them interest me. I hope they will be translated in french ! :)
I really want to read the book by Beth O'Leary now, after your review! I hope there's a romance in there:)
Cynthia Espinoza My mouth is sealed! 🤐🙃
@@helenejeppesen2133 haha! I'm downloading the book right now!:)
The flat share was absolute drivel. I Dnf’d this one midway through. I would highly recommend girl, woman, other. Listen to the audiobook though.
