WONDERFUL! If it's your own composition, bravo! I'm an old man; when I started as a concert pianist I wore "tails", which was then the custom. Later we progressed to tuxedos. Eventually, suits and ties, then perhaps a blazer, casual pants, no ties! But your choice of dress is fantastic! It must be so much more comfortable, allowing you to relax more fully and focus entirely on your lovely sound! 🏳🌈

I don’t think your comment on his ‘appearance’ has ANYTHING to do with his beautiful interpretation and talented 🎹 playing of this piece! It doesn’t matter what a person looks like, what race, age, sexual orientation, religion, or anything else they are - the ONLY thing that does is that the person/musician is talented in WHAT they play! If you, or anyone else, is that narrow minded, then either close your eyes and just listen, or find someone else who ‘dresses’ as you see fit, Enough said❗️PS: I don’t think he’s trying to ‘impress’ or to ‘prove’ anything to anyone by not wearing a shirt - his goal is to convey his true emotions and feelings as he plays. Anyone can be taught HOW to read notes from paper and play them on an instrument (or to sing), but it takes something truly special (talent) to be able to bring music to ‘life’ and into those who listen to them! (I am 67 years old now and was trained as a classical pianist and organist since I was 5, so I DO know what it takes to play as Evgeny does. It requires a LOT of time, dedication, desire, etc. to achieve what he has!)
While generally I agree with you I do believe one’s self presentation does have value and I really like Evgeny’s relaxed casual style, perhaps atypical for a classically trained musician but refreshing. It doesn’t distract or detract from the musical expression but is an addition to the overall content.
@@radamik Thanks for reading my comment! I have seen Evgeny videos when he plays more classical music and is in front of an audience/and or orchestra. Then he wears a tux! But being at home or alone gives him the opportunity to dress as he pleases - without taking anything away from his talent or performance. He’s definitely not trying to impress anyone with his clothes, or lack there of (lol)!
This song was written by Ludovico Einaudi and it is very selfish not mentioning his name. From this perspective looks like it is your piece, but don't try to mislead people.
I see your point but I don’t believe Evgeny was trying to give the impression that he wrote the piece. When I first listened to it I thought it was purely his interpretation that was the intent.
