Right away you impress me! I ve been mining over 50 years and i,m sorta worn out; anyone who can bend over and tie his boots so easily...now that's impressive..then there,s the GOLD!
Hey guys, Couple of little mixups with the days at the end of vid, days 2 and 3 are the days I’m supposed to be referring to where the gold was sniped Day 1 was the walk in day 4 was the hike out. Give me a break though I’m worn out 🥵 😊
Brilliant videos! Would love to see a collection of all your osmo iridium and maybe when you get some more, you can have it refined. This is because iridium is extremely valuable- at nearly 5000 dollars an ounce compared to gold’s less than 2000. That would be really amazing to see!
Osmiridium has been defined as containing a higher proportion of iridium, with iridosmine containing more osmium. However, as the content of the natural Os-Ir alloys varies considerably, the constituent percentages of specimens often reflects the reverse situation of osmiridium describing specimens containing a higher proportion of osmium and iridosmine specimens containing more iridium. Just seen this on Wikipedia. Surely if this is true you’re looking at nearly 3000 per ounce?
I could tell it was wearing on ya about day 2... Good old dreno to keep you going with each piece?? And like you say the reflection of it all when you finally come out dry and safe, itching to be with the fam...Very happy to see you buddying up! and making it through hells gate and back again...
Amazing, Beautiful middle of no where!!!! To have that area all to yourselves to snipe that gold is remarkable. But, now on to new adventures!!!! yes!!
All good brother Taz Your work, adventures and finds are so soulful for me to watch it keeps me alive knowing one day I'll be back in my Motherlands Taz I hiked a lot of South Taz blockaded a bit for our mother old growth trees But the whole time as a kid to young adult never did I think to look for gold ✨ for I was to fascinated from all the other beauty's of Tas, the time will come when I can pan back in my island home⛏️ Happy hunting Levi 👍✨✨✨ when on main land (but to us our 'main land' is Tas for it's our main hearts interest) one day will meet✌️ Love light lunacy 🦅 Keen em on the good foot🐜🐜🐜
@@joegosselin2888 it's currently 0532 my time and im literally about to head out and pan for some gold with my buddy on dirt bikes in the scottish highlands. When this is your hobby, yes..... These videos are enjoyable to watch.
Levi, I don't think you are spoilt, I think you just work bloody hard for what you get. As well as dragging us lucky folks along with you. That makes us spoilt. Thanks for the cool adventures, the GOLD is just a bonus. Enjoy, you earned it.
Levi you were probably on cloud nine. Love watching you live the life that we can only dream about. Keep putting out videos and we'll keep watching. Love every minute of the travel to you finding the yellow fever stuff and the weigh in. Thank you for the experience.
I was thinking. When you want to move a rock that seems maybe to big to move, try this. Think *SLINGSHOT*. Tie a rope to the rock and at the other end tie it to a parachute made of a sheet of light rubber. The current will fill the parachute thus pulling at the rock. Less work for you. Sounds like a good Idea/Invention. (remember me)
Imagine the old gold rushes for the first that hit the ground. It must have been like that hole all up and down the rivers. Ounce a day panning. Can you imagine? Another great vid, as expected.
These videos are so incredible not simply because of all the gold captured, but because of the journey. That place is so beautiful and to think you two may be some of, if not the only people to ever traverse that part of the river makes it even cooler. I had a gold trip just like this with a buddy a few years ago in the northern Yukon above Fairbanks and couldn’t help but to think the journey on the river was even better than finding any gold. The trip was worth it just for the view
OMG.. My phone died and I'm using the wife's phone. What a pleasant surprise... I know this is going to be epic.. Levi and Rob.. what a beautiful combination. Total respect for all that you do, please stay safe and God bless
Haha… that’s what I thought, not spoilt, anyone could do it with a lot of planning, hard work & mega hiking 🥾!! Gotta love freezing cold water 💦 too! 😂
@@tassiegirl50 exactly, I was a young man growing up, Levi’s videos took me from 1 gram a day, to 7 gram days. Half ounce days n breaking records yearly. I owe so much to Levi and his knowledge. Last 3/4 years has been the most life changing years of my mining career. If you listen to what he says n follow it. It works, it’s incredible to have an opportunity to have someone like this share n teach others. I have no dad, never have. Everything I have learned has been from others. Levi would never even know how he has improved peoples lives. Laying out in the woods under a tarp, I often think about that. Gotta love this guy! Passion!
Was anyone else hoping Levi was going to change his mind agree and recharge the batteries for another session??? 😀 Awsome successful mission Levi pleased to be on this journey with you 🙌🏼 Also thoughts and prayers go out the families affected and lives lost to storm Gabrielle mate 🙏🏼
hey Levi, loved this trip it was awesome. Always look forward to your content as its not all about the gold but the enviroments you adventure to. Keep up the great work and thank you all the way from Scotland
To save weight on the trek in I would carry large fanny packs(or something of that sort) to use as “weight belts”. Fill them with rocks when you get down to your spot? Just an idea. God Bless
You two are fortunate to find the amazing gold you do but you also work so hard for it. I’m sure being away from family can be difficult but wow sometimes the results are too hard not to be pursued. Another amazing video!
I love your life!! What amazing scenery! I’d love to do just the kayaking let alone all the treasure hunting!! Lucky man to live in such a paradise. What a beautiful part of Oz. Enjoy xxx
I really love what you've been putting out here recently. Your content has always been really good, but I feel like you've hit a new level of your craft. I can't wait to see what's next!
I just started watching your prospecting videos they're quite good I enjoy watching them. I started watching your oldest first and in one of them you asked what kind of music people like to listen to I like to listen to classical music or anything that's quiet and let your mind just relax while I watch you do your thing. Everybody has an idea but watching what you do and listening to a bunch of heavy metal death banging for powerful on your video is and not my thing. On another note I wanted to mention there are a certain type of surgical tweezer they come in different lengths they have openings for where your fingers go in that look almost like ovals they're like like a scissor would be and they come to a fine point some have alligator like teeth on the grip end others are smooth. I see when you try and get your big fingers down in those tiny cracks to get the gold it's kind of hard but maybe if you were to look for those online they sell them everywhere Amazon whatever then you could clamp on to your gold flake and haul it out easier just an idea. Peace
Hey Levi, congrats to you and Robb on a fantastic trip and a really beautiful video, entertaining and amazing us with all your hard work and fantastic scenery. You guys never fail to do proffesional work. Thanks again for taking us along.
What a mission. Generally the harder the spot is to get into the greater the reward for effort (in most cases). You certainly put in the homework and hard work.
Awesome show Levi. I see you wearing gators most of the time how fluent are snakes on your trips, I have a 2 1/2 day hiking trip coming in 15 days around 30 miles in tha swamp we have to carry close to 3 gallons of water. How contaminated are the rivers due too deregulated mining
Thank you Levi 🤝. Incredibly enjoyable production! Stay safe out there.....that goes for Rob too. I'm so glad to see you get rewarded for your efforts!
Living the life. I still say those feeder streams are worth a look someday. Maybe a source coming from one of them, though that course you found didn't travel far. Very much enjoyed and ty for taking me along.
What can I say that was another epic install, I could actually feel the journey out after four workout days. Thank you Levi for your efforts and some of that gold hadn’t traveled far, take care ar kid 👍
Just wondering if it would be worth taking bow saws, hand chain saws etc and try to remove the log jams as you go up? It'd drain the deeper sections meaning less strain on Nemo 😀 could be a winter project.
Hi just stumbled across your videos awesome footage and good content cheers for sharing your experiences, just a thought have you ever considered putting a longer extension hose on your snorkel when working those holes that require you to hold your breath in, I guess it does give you a break though
A friend of mine was a "nugget" miner that worked Alaska... They made far better money selling the nugget as specimen than its gold value.. Jewellery value is pretty amazing.. Great videos.. sure makes it look easy hahahaha
Man, i just found your videos and love em! Glad to see Tazmania's beauty can make it out here to the Americas. What type of raft are you using? Thanks and great luck!
Absolutely FANTASTIC lads! I don't just enjoy your adventures finding gold but seeing the terrain and vegetation of Tasmania is just spectacular - an absolute gem of an island. Looking forward to the next adventure! Best wishes from Illinois, USA - the home to this Welshman Abroad!
