To celebrate EMS Week, we’d like to introduce you to the newest apparatus in our fleet - Medic 56. This is a top-of-the-line ambulance with modern equipment and design features. The ambulance keeps our responders safe and provides them with all of the tools needed to deliver the best patient care possible. Firefighter Paramedic Tyler Morris gives us a 360 tour of the medic and a brief overview of each compartment and key components on the rig.

4:54 The stretchers today are sooooo much nicer!!! Back & body (for the medic) saving. As a former EMT, i worked with some old single level cots (Chevy Suburban ambulance with no head room), to the multi-level cots for the van and box type ambulances, that you had to bend over to pick-up & set down to load. We finally got basic roll-in stretchers. Never got to work with the powered automatic stretchers. Now the automatic CPR devises are so much nicer, from the old bulky “Thumpers”. We were lucky to have a single lap belt on the medics seat or on the bench seat. Makes me jealous of the medics of today!!

Teribile vehicule,utilate cu cele mai performante unitati,pentru acordarea ajutorului medical,in cazuri extreme..O modalitate de respect pentru acele persoane ,care va apeleaza..Admir abnegatia,profesionalismul,de care dati dovada in ajutorul populatiei..Toate cele bune,sanatate si dumneavoastra,in aceasta nobila profesie...Salutari din Romania,cu scuzele de rigoare ,ca nu pot traduce comentariul..din limba romana..

It depends on how many patients they have that require oxygen, and what devices they are using.
