It's a very different experience based on where you go. We experienced it in Getsemani at the central Church there. They also had a stage setup and put on a big show at the end with parade elements going through. There it was more of a party with people partying together, drinking together, and of course the flour rice and firecrackers. But a good time all the way around. We were plastered with flour by the end of it. When in Rome... Gotta give this a like just for the sheer memories of it all. We were spent as we too went early in the morning to stake out a spot, not realize it didn't start until much later. But good company. And SAFE. Lots of fun. Oh, and most of all it was a total surprise. We were there for the month and had no idea it would be happening. Good post. Man every video you show of the city, I sincerely miss my beloved Cartagena. I'm jealous bro (in a good way). Keep enjoying.
U cant be mad at the flour throwing. Thats how they celebrate. Ive been to festivals there and Barranquilla, thats just what they do 🤷🏾♂️ way more fun than here in the US
