Been looking at a trip down the eastern side of the country...as soon as a few good days are forecast I'll be off...and, fingers crossed, I want to go to the Isle of Man before the end of summer...the weather has been so crap this year!

I remember seeing an episode of Standing with Stones from the island ,and one of the locations was an awesome quartz chamber . Possibly the ruins of a chambered cairn ...I can't recall. Always wanted to visit it since, I hope you get there. ☔☁️☁️☁️🌧️ Yeah, the weather is screwed up alright,feels like autumn today, I had to light the fire. 🍀
I'll have to rewatch that whole programme, it's been a while since I saw it last. Is it a site called Meayll Stone Circle/Mull Circle which has 12 chambers arranged in a ring? The Faerie Bridge is on my IOM list too, just to stop for a quick pic...I think I could get round all the sites on my list in 2-3 days easy Just had a look and it's called Corvalley Cairn...on private land but it's going on the list anyway
@@david_v2.1 That's it , Covally Cairn. I had to watch the SwS episode on UA-cam, I had forgotten it is unexcavated and the crystal chamber is for sitting in to talk with the spirits... awesome. It sits on a hill above The Devils Elbow on the west coast A4 . Have a look on GMaps , there is a big farm a few fields to the south, I would guess the Cairn is on their land. Some other amazing monuments on the island as well...I am excited for you already.😆. Have a great weekend man.👍🍀
