"I feel like I've been dropping hints my whole life" is such a great way to put it. When the penny finally dropped for me I started remembering all these things I'd been doing my whole life, thoughts I'd had, and realizing some part of me knew who I was and was always trying to be seen, even though I couldn't see it for the longest time, not until I was ready. This is an amazing interview.
Thank you for taking the time to do this interview @Ela! Very informative. Everyone back home in Boone is so proud of you all! The new album gets better w each listen
I’m so excited to see you all in Kansas City!! I found RKS during the darkest time of my life in 2020, battling addiction and caged in an abusive relationship. I remember those moments I was hanging by a thread I would blast RKS and dance, cry, sing, and just release all of my pain.
I’m now almost a year sober, and getting married 2 days after I see you all in KC. It sounds like you’re in a much better place too Ella, thank you RKS for taking care of her and thank you Ella for allowing yourself the time to heal and come back. We can all resonate with the darkness, but I’m happy you are now able to make music from a healthier place.
We were in KC for the show too. What an amazing uplifting experience! One of the best performances I’ve seen in a while. Congratulations 🍾
An hour with Ela?! Incredible! Just read through the transcript in advance of watching and I'm so appreciative of this deep-dive, thank you for showcasing such an amazing artist and providing the platform for frank discussion ❤
Ela, you and your openness are a gift ❤ You're an incredible human and artist, and we're so lucky to live in this timeline with you. That you've come out the other side of a struggle able to speak to it so eloquently (Elameloquently™️) showcases such strength of character. You are a wholly beautiful being. Thank you for sharing your stories with us.
