- Ben Rice slugged 3 home runs on Saturday to lead the New York Yankees to a 14-4 win over the Boston Red Sox. Rice, who hails from outside of Boston, is the first Yankees rookie to hit 3 home runs in a single game, and the first rookie in club history since Lou Gehrig with 7 RBI in one game.
