my favorite Death Metal band of all times.
I can't than don't listed possessed and sex feet under?
Scarlet Dark Did you just imply the Six Feet Under was better than Suffocation? Are you high?
Scarlet Dark your on steroids
“Six feet under" HAHAHAHAHA. No.
A. Alonso Suffo in my top 10 for sure!
10 years old today, time flies and this still rips!
Love suffocation it was an honor being part of this video 🤘💘🤘
It would have been sik fun.. 🤟🤟.. tell me, is the hot blonde as good in real life as they make her look in this clip.. fck she looks awsome 😍 👊👊🤟
Dat opening riff... similar to Exodus - Scar Spangled Banner! :D
That's what song I was trying to compare this one to at the beginning!
Spot on wow. Nice ear
Guys, Frank is 45 years old and so is Terrance. These guys have been killing shit since 1989, you can't go on forever everyone has their limits. Suffocation still puts out quality death metal that destroys all the deathcore trendy bullshit that's around these days.
+caden nies (CadenIsMetal93) very true same with dying fetus
+santiago hurtado You deserve a beer bro!
Gabriel Villalobos cheers
+Sicko Traveye deathcore trendy bullshit? Wtf? You do realize that this band is part of the reason deathcore exists right?
That's a fucking myth, Suffocation never influenced Deathcore.
I'm loving this album more and more, and this song in particular, the more I hear it. Wish I had the opportunity and then the balls to go see them.
2:31 best part
moistened eelk0 ok
moistened eel mega chop!
That riff is a fuckin CRUSHER
I like Frank's Finger Guns at 3:13 too
That's what I call Cataclysmic Culumination
Who cares about the style? That's just a fukking label. Those guys are awesome and the music is really amazing!! Keep rocking guys... Greetings from Argentina.
They look like they have such a fucking blast every time they play!
In my opinion this is one of the best Death Metal albums ever written. I especially love this track, it rips so hard! \m/
you must not have heard much death metal because this isnt even close to the best
@@vicklagina Actually I listen to a lot but I guess I can't have my own opinion. But I guess it is what it is. I listen to Brutal Death Metal, Slam, Traditional Death Metal, Tech Death ect. But I guess I don't know nothing
Suffocation kills, always have and will
0:26 "One milk, four cheese, and drain the pooper!"
I saw them twice in a week in 95. Crushing. First show I saw with my future wife.
So, she probably left you by now...
+The “HireJockey” Law 😂😂😂
Actually really refreshing to see a death metal band make a fun video where they aren't taking themselves to seriously.
They are Coming to Philippines

one of my favorite Bands! Hails to Suffocation!
NuclearBlastRecords thank you for making awesome bands like suffocation, Nile, and many many more, accessible to us. UA-cam wouldn't be same without you!
One of my favourite bands, amazing song
1997... Eagles Ballroom... Milwaukee Metalfest... To this day, thee single sickest and most intense pit I've ever been in. \m/
If Frank and Mike ever returned and they decided to tour, yeah man! I would definitely go out and see them! I have seen them once but it wasn't the original line up! Excellent!
finger bassist derek boyer rules!!!
I saw them Last week... great show
We have played with them over 3 times in AZ love all they have ever done
If you haven't yet, I'd highly suggest one buy this album. While it may be a little short in length, it makes up for it by having every song completely kill.
This song always make me headbang
Legends of Death Metal!! Such a brilliant band.
Suffocation and the Rot together is something you can't go wrong with!
Now I've got a hangover. Suffocation, death metal OGs, still at the top of the heap.
You cannot beat this line up!!!
Beautiful break from Napalm and Wormrot. Great band. Bought Human Waste back in the 80's when music was brutally fresh
Album (SUFFOCATION Pinnacle of bedlam) in my collection, vid in my favs.
Thanks.
Favorite album of Suffocation for me.2013 is awesome year Surgical Steel,Everblack,13
SUFFOCATION....best death metal band...awesome song!!
Suffocation best band ever!! Pinnacle of bedlam is a masterpiece!!
No, Sir. You are denied by concurrence.
Will in fact be going to see these guys perform. Only hoping that the line up does indeed feature Frank on lead vocals duty!
I totally don't get the video BUT not complaining because the music still kicks ass after all these years. So many bands after a handful of their early stuff go down the tubes. Suffocation still bringing it!
Saw these guys live with Bloodbath and Obituary, not even knowing who they were, and they kicked major ass. They played better than Obituary.
I'm going to see them with Nile and cannibal corpse.
potatoking 81 Sounds like a great group, have fun.
The Hound Frank Mullen and John Tardy sound alike in vocals
The hound lol cool character 😂🤘🏼
Saw Suffocation live in Villeurbanne (CCO). TECHNICAL BRUTAL DEATH METAL !!!!
best metal video EVVVERRRRRRR soooo cool
long island killing shit. these guys are brilliant. smith ruled he's missed.
Mathematics are universal. Mathematical Death metal also ! SUFFOCATION !
One of my favorite bands...
3:20 OMG! So Awesome!!! Why we love Death Metal!!!
Lois Lane: What does the 'S' stand for?
Superman: It's not an 'S', on my planet it means SUFFOCATION
Ce groupe est dans mon top 5 de tout les temps!
Probably one of the greatest death metal albums in the past decade
I've seen this band live twice. They are superb. This is in line for death metal album of the year.
Shook Frank's hand and showed my support before they went on stage last night in Hartford, great guys, fucking great band, amazing energy live, I went crazy when they played this
Showering from the heavens. . .
Don't understand why anyone would criticize this awesome video. I'm havin' fun watching them have fun
Wow! The heaviest thing I had ever heard was arch enemy, now is this band......
If you like this, listen to suffocation's earlier material, even better listen to decapitated's winds of creation album
SpaztallicA don't forget about organic hallucinosis!
the heaviest band is black tongue,
@@dradenmerenox7172 agreed
2:28 stars one of the best parts of the album
Yeah. I get you. I just dont like people telling each other to die. Bad memories, you know.
Frank rules, perfect front man. Originator of death metal fingers. Haven't listened to these guys in quite a while. Not a bad effort, not bad at all.
Is it me or does the main riff sound like the first part of the riff of Scar Spangled Banner by Exodus?
Trapezoid yes it does
😊😆😆😆 I love it, I like too much the rythm of this song..! 👐🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘👍👍🤘👍👍
Since i dicover them on 2012 life is a blast
SUFFOCATION still OWNZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
COOL ! AWESOME ! ! GREAT ! ! !
Please guys come to Pittsburgh Pa on tour
What a cool video. Suffocation rules!
the solo is friggin awesooooome!
Wreszcie zmienili perkusistę. Najwyższy czas!
People say recent Suffocation is shit, but I completely disagree. Maybe not their best stuff, but it's still well written, well performed tech-death in a similar style to how they started out - just taken to it's logical extreme.
I was actually one of those people when this album was released who expressed their disdain, however after listening back to it there's nothing terrible about it. I guess it just feels very average and is well too similar to Job For a Cowboy's Latest record (that was released basically at the same time.) although obviously Job for a Cowboy's sound is heavily influenced by Suffocation's.
I certainly prefer this record than Suffocation's LATE 90s Releases (Like Blood Oath.) which makes sense really. Blood Oath sort of set the blueprint for Deathcore music (which is fine, there's nothing wrong with Deathcore.) and there was always something I didn't like the record but I can't put my finger on it, I get the same feeling when listening to Deathcore.
People descredit Deathcore as 'Not being Metal' and all of this rubbish but in all honesty it's just pretty standard and generic Death metal riffs and drums thrown onto a Metalcore song structure with Groove metal/Metalcore vocals. However I guess it's the way the riffs and such fit together and the tone of the guitar (I have the same problem with Meshugga, don't like the vocals or the guitar tone.) as well as how dissonant Deathcore is in comparison to Death metal. it feels like they took some of the most 'generic' and in a way boring? features of Death metal and threw them together without the contrast that Death metal seems to have.
I guess the same can be seen but on the opposite end of the spectrum with slam Death, where as Deathcore took the Suffocation esque Tech Death riffs, Slam death bands took the slams and tremolo patterns and threw as many of these together as possible (as well as taking the guttural vocals to an extreme.)
If you're confused as to the relationship I'm referencing between Deathcore and Suffocation's Tech death style riffs even Bring me the horizon have them. - --Suffocation - Brood of Hatred (HQ)-- - BRING ME THE HORIZON - Pray for Plagues (the opening riff is extremely similar to Suffocation's just with a thinner and more dissonant guitar tone, keep listening. The song is basically a bunch of random Death metal riffs thrown together in repetitive fashion with Metalcore/Groove metal vocals.)
Anyway, when I listen to Blood Oath (as well as most of their late 90s-early 2000s releases) I get the same feeling I get with deathcore, it feels like a Deathcore band playing with Frank Mullen Growling over the top of it, I just struggle to connect with it for whatever reason.
My whole point is I agree with you, this latest record in my opinion looking at it now is a return to form and their older sound. The thing I disliked most was probably the vocals, especially the weird accent as well as the tone (at the end of the vocals.) it reminds me a lot of Job for a cowboy, which isn't a terrible thing I'm just not a fan.
lol "tech death"
***** Just shortened form for "technical death metal," sounds kinda dumb but it's better than spelling out the whole thing whenever you try to talk about it.
7dayspking I agree with you for the most part, but when I listen to older records like Pierced From Within it actually makes me think of a more technical Butchered at Birth personally, but I know what you're talking about in regards to that feeling of incompleteness with deathcore, I feel that too. Well, for the majority of bands at least. I find Whitechapel's self-titled album is one of those albums that doesn't have that feeling at all (like the song "I, Dementia" for example - I would link it but my internet is being a pain right now). Another would be Akeldama by The Faceless, really complete sounding album and one of my all time favorites from the genre.
7dayspking Blood Oath came out in 2009
What the hell are you talking about? So, you don't like how Suffocation gave a chance for Suffocation fans to come out to a bar, record a video, and hang out and party with them in the process? Do you think that every metal music video has to be profound and blow your mind where you go home and rethink your existence as a human being? This video is fun and the song kicks ass. Stop complaining.
This is Yonkers on a normal day... haha! NYDM baby!!!!
mortal, una de mis bandas favoritas,técnica y brutalidad a la vez
Extremely brutal unlike anything I've heard so far
I love how the intro deceives into thinking it's going to be trash metal, but then blasts you away!
I agree one hundred percent!
I love the faces that Frank does!
This new album is truly sikk!! Production is beast!! This gave DM its life back!!
thankyou seen suffo with smith and saw em with the other guy and honestly no difference both equally intense
I LOVE THIS
ya lo habia visto en otro canal ke novedad.lo vi hace ya mas de 4 dias
one of suffocations best 70 something songs...or is it more?
That's where I picture Suffocation when the world comes to an end, still fucking shredding.
this is some awesome shit. ill have to pick this album up considering I don't have it yet! franks vocals are so diverse yet so awesome!
good album and great song.
Qué grande el Pelado Almeida tocando la bata!!!
Yes !
PFW = REFERENCE STANDARD OF TECHNICAL DEATH METAL
This song is so dense and chaotic. It's still very much Suffocation. I can't understand all the hate.
we love bassist style, Derek Boyer and punk girl who wear Suffo t-shirts. :)
Great video! Just how i would want to go out!
I just started to listen to this band and it starts to be my favorite death metal band!!
Suffocation!!! Forever!!!!
This song is great, but to me the rest of the album is even better. I haven't heard a watershed performance like this since Pierced from Within.
See you guys tomorrow 🤘🏼 Bangalore
wow, this is awesome.. keen to hear the rest of album now\
This video is awesome, it looks like they know how to have a shit load of fun.
all suffocation is brutally amazing but their best would deff be Effigy of the forgotten & Pierced from within
