Sir, after water curing concrete specimens(150mm*150mm*150mm) for 28 days, do we need to dry specimens in a oven before placing them to the machine? Otherwise, specimen is already wet and isn't it difficult to identify clearly water penetration mark.
It is always better to take the average of at least 3 concrete cubes. More the number of samples considered for the test, better is the obtained result.
@@gulnurtumur2726 I believe you have 3 specimens for each mix. Is it right? If so, then you can determine the max depth for those three cubes and then you can take the average of the maximum depths. Also determine the standard deviation to show errors bars in your graph.
Normally we take maximum of 25 mm maximum depth of penetration but where it is mentioned in any Is code or reference pl share ?
is this same as a permeability test of concrete?
Proud to be member of indian concrete institute
Would you please tell me how to calculate permeability coefficient of concrete via your test? Thank in advance.
how to calculate the coefficient of water permeability of concrete by DIN method?
How to cure sample ? In water

i think is good to dry one of test specimens compare results. should be easier, as sometimes it very difficult to tell difference.
either one cube is enough for the test or we need to test for 3cubes and taking an average of them?
+Vamshikrishna Krishna in any science measurment the more the better, take 10 and average for more reliable data

@@LearningCorridorBharathMS I have three samples for each sample i will take max depth then i will take their average again?

thanks a lot madam G.
Agli baar bhi padhana , video ke saath padhana , chehara dekhna hai apun ko🙄😀
Thank u mam
i got it, thanks
