4 hearts or 3 NT?
with 3 NT we only need 9 tricks, 4 hearts we need 10 tricks; game is game, so why not 3NT?

when you have a fit in hearts or spades it's usually better (not always) to play game in that suit as the extra tricks from trumping losers usually make more of a difference than needing one less trick for game.
