Jim, another beautiful location with great history. Shawn’s birthday gift was so special by you and Mason. Loved the thimbles and buttons, especially the star burst pewter button. The civil war cemetery was a bonus for me. I do not know how far out you were, but someone sure took their time to hang a flag. Take care and again Merry Christmas to you all.🎄🎁👍🙏🇺🇸
@@twindiggersminnesotapamandpat Merry Christmas Pam and Pat!🎄🎅🎁😎❤️ We love old sites like that way out in the woods, even when we don’t find much we still like to think about what went on in the past and what those old colonial homes would have looked like. There was a Revolutionary War soldiers grave in there too, someone definitely took the time to hike out there and make sure they got fresh flags on Veterans Day. Thanks so much as always for the support, we hope you are ready for the holidays to spend time with friends and family. 🙂
Awesome birthday gift! Mine is coming up soon! 😂 Really cool old cellar holes, and a nice assortment of relic finds, including some awesome buttons! Nice job Mason spotting the geocache! Enjoyed the video, looking forward to the next! Merry Christmas! 👍🙋♀️🙋
How's it going Jim and Mason? So cool what you two did for Shawn. Happy Belated Birthday Sean. Love the cemetery you took us through. The Revolutionary and Civil War Veterans resting there Wow. Very nice. Jim You forgot your Ox Shoe love it. Congrats on the File Button and Thimble. Jason Congrats on the Buttons and Garder Belt Piece. Shawn love the 1700s Buckle Piece. Congrats on the Thimbles and Buttons. Jim were you able to get a Pat Date on the Oil Lamp Piece? Take Care Jim and Mason. Hope all of have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Looks like you guys had a blast! Also, what a cool little historic area. I would love to see the homesteads that sat on those granite stones and what they looked like. The smaller ones look cape style, but the larger foundations could be colonial homes. Neat!!

I may have said this before but it's worth repeating. Whenever you find an open well like that first one you showed, please throw as many logs and sticks in it as you can to help prevent animals and people from falling into it. The logs will also give smaller animals a way to climb out.
@@awareness556 Thanks Badger! Yes we need to get better about covering the old wells. Hope we find some time to dig with you guys soon. Happy Holidays to you and your family 🎄🎁🎅😎✌️
@@masonmercmetaldetecting No no, don't cover them! That creates a trap. They must be filled with verticle logs, sticks, and whatever else is lying around. Even just a few logs are helpful but the more the better. Two or three people can fill a well in no time.
@awareness556 that definitely makes sense. We have seen plenty of wells just like that with logs and sticks pointing straight out of them. Thanks for the tip and we will be sure to do that next time.
