I’ve been looking into this katana since it launched and been thinking of building out something for it just for fun haha. Thanks for this video! Excited to watch it!
Go for it! This build is a blast, especially since they improved the execution mechanics-it works so much better now. You can throw daggers and execute enemies all over the open world, which makes it super fun!
I've watched this whole video twice. Great tips. Zeno-Purifier with Durability reduces your stamina consumption by -5%. Wasteland wolf skins are great for top and bottom as well, they each give +20 stamina and 5% sprint speed. Beach crocodile skin gives +7% to crit rate to mask, Highland deerhide on boots give +8% sprint speed. This is a preference, but I like double jump instead of tea because it makes you super mobile and you can attack from the air with the Zeno-Purifier.
@@Anestic Yeah 4 weapon/armor crates in Mousseville 2 in building, 1 on bus, 1 in building you run into Hotdog at. Then 3 at sweet factory, 1 in gift shop backroom, 1 behind an ice wall in main factory, and one in the front south factory.
Thanks for this man :D loved your first guide, rewatched it a lot of times. I'm going Light attacks coz it's a lot more flashier edit: also another tip, you can Blueprint convert same color armor or weapon pieces to transfer the stars to it but it's limited per season. I used it to craft my all 5-star falcon set. Also on boots, i use Slow and Steady since when fighting bosses, there's usually mobs around that constantly damage you so it's hard to maintain covered advance, and since i'm using light attacks + Zeno, i lifesteal enough to keep my life full.
I didn’t see your edited message earlier, but about your mod choice-it’s all up to you. If something works well for you, go for it. Lifesteal is still a big advantage, even without Deviant, especially now that they’ve added the Tough perk.
Agreed! I hope they continue to tune melee even further. After the Manibus scenario, it’s clear they’re giving us hope with additions like the cradle and more support for melee gameplay. Once we get legendary mods for weapons and masks, melee builds could become very viable-depending on the scenario and how boss mechanics are balanced for melee-friendly gameplay.
Cool little trick. Aim at an enemy spawn your samurai, as you light attack enemy unsummon deviation. Youll keep the sumarais buff and can basically tp to enemies in range indefinitely. Another useful trick is using jump+light attack then right after the attack use aero leap. The timings a bit tricky but it will send you flying forward.
I know about these from another video I saw a long time ago. Is this still a thing? Lol. I’m not sure if it’s a trick; it feels more like bug abusing, which could lead to a ban. I heard people were getting banned for having excessively high movement speed-imagine blinking nonstop for 100% of the game time :D
@NakedAngelGaming it still works. I could see it being exploited in close combat pvp but can't see how it'd be a ban from pve. Tbh it makes melee usable in pvp. It reminds me a lot of apex legends super glides. Seems like a bug they don't mind.
@ not yet, I got the Bp from the wish machine but got caught up in the general meta of the shrapnel and ice builds. Now though with a bit Once Human pressure off I can play with the Katana and unstable bomber builds to see what I like. I think the Katsna offers a new style of gameplay for me in once human and it really excites me. Especially going back into Manibus with all of the items I collected in Way of Winter. It’s going to be really cool!!!
@@Hypnotic-tist Playing off-meta or just for fun is a great way to enjoy the game, especially when it’s this entertaining. Katanas definitely offer much more than typical ranged weapons, especially when paired with the Zeno-Purifier Deviant.

Yeah, it should work, but with a few tweaks, it could be even better. It might not match the katana in terms of burst damage, but it definitely has other great aspects, like impressive AoE damage.
@ Try the long axe build and focus on Crit DMG, it’s really fun and its damage is higher than the katana but the katana is more faster, especially if you upgrade it to 5 stars... You will enjoy:D
@@renaldiatma7828 I don’t like the long axe, it feels a bit too slow, and the weapon’s passive seems useless since you only get super armor, not any real benefit beyond CC immunity, which isn’t a big deal.
also you can check the Boots on The Ground key item to see if it grant 30% DMG on marked enemies (since using crossbow for mark anyway). Just a few things I've think of.
Love the idea of just running around with a katana and destroying enemies with ease though I do wonder if this build (with a few tweaks) could work well with the Jaws as well since some bosses cant be reached with melee. Other than that great video and if there are some tips you could share/critics about having both masamune and jaws together, please do so and thx in advance
They both work great together, but I’d suggest playing them separately. You can set up a preset build for the katana and another for the jaws to maximize efficiency. This way, you can quickly switch to the second build if needed.

How do you get the Hard-Striker or Light-Striker style? It seems every time I craft the sword it comes with the same calibration options? Sorry, I'm new to endgame builds :(
When you craft a weapon, you need to use calibrations on it. Calibrations drop from weapon chests as actual weapons. After you get a weapon, you need to take it to the disassembly bench to break it down for parts. During this process, you’ll receive calibrations and other materials.
@@Anestic Oh thanks! I checked and I actually had a few. I had to choose between Hard/Elemental/Crit or Light/Crit/Crit so I went with Hard, even though it had a useless stat. I'm still quite weak but I think I'll get there, eventually. Thanks for the guide!
Allo, good build :-) 1 - searching for falcon set on WoW I see only a video in the fire fortress for frags ? 2 - running light katana, Rustic bp seems to run only in snowland rustic, no more 15% melee damage boost, am I missing something ? thank you !
Allo, thanks! If you opened all mystical chests then there is no other way to get falcon pieces from the map. You can get falcon set piece randomly from the wish machine - echoes from the rift too. To craft rustic with damage bonus, you have to craft it from tent, I said it in the video. You are welcome, feel free to join discord and ask me there too.
It’s hard to say. One focuses purely on status damage, while the other can be built for weapon damage, which works better for the Way of Winter. It really depends on which build you have better mods for.

Why should I play without buffs when they’re so easy to get? Secondly, why would I make a PvP clip on a PvE server? That makes no sense. I might optimize this build for PvP when I’m actually playing PvP, but otherwise, there’s no point.
Lmao, with optimized gears and 4 pieces of Savior, if you let zero-nifier touch you, that's mean death sentence. Bro still thinking people playing in PvP have 300k DPS lol

For blue mods I just do Mousseville, and the Mousseville sweet factory, not really any other places to collect blue mods on wow

Yeah, I get you-light attacks feel so much smoother, especially once you learn to animation cancel with throwing knives

What would you use with this build to kill unreachable bosses? The fridge boss in PSI is a fucking pain
You could try using the Jaws pistol-it works great for me. You can find a build guide for it on my channel
For clearing mobs or loots, using Ferocious charges are way more reasonable. Great video anyway, thanks man.

That might be my mistake; I didn’t know there isn’t a Rustic Mask. In that case, you can adjust your armor selection accordingly.

Yeah for some reason there is no rustic mask, I guess that's a bug. I don't have it currently too
