- We drive further south passing through Annecy in France to the French Alps. We stop at Col du Glandon for a break before arriving at Champ Du Moulin Camping where we are surrounded in beautiful scenery. We enjoy a barbecue in the rain and all venture out on bicycles with an am to get to the nearby town of Bourg D'Oisans. Trev and Kev provide a walk around the campsite to show the facilities available.

The campground was only 3 star but it made up for itself with beautiful natural scenery that in our opinion was worth more than the star rating. We enjoyed every day in this campground 😃👍🏻 Trev

Great site. I was clenching my teeth as you cycled over those tree roots. There’s bones in your bottom that only a cyclist knows about! 🤣🤣 Hopefully it wasn’t too painful. Thanks for sharing a great location.

Great video, when Sue said she needed to change her underwear, it reminded me of my RV adventure in the Californian mountains. My mate kept telling me to keep my eyes on the road.

Wow, the French Alps are so beautiful. But I'm with you Sue, look at the road Trev! I'm not too good with high mountain roads with no guard rails. I would probably be scrunched down in my seat telling Bob to get in the left lane :) Why do you think I have to put music to all our scenic drives, hahaha. I can’t think of what to say about this video other than WOW, the scenery is stunning, it’s bring back memories of our last trip through France as we have traveled on the motorway at the start of the film & also spent a few hours in Annecy on our way back from Bourge Saint Maurice in the Alps.

I think you could get your caravan to the campsite via the recommended route but probably not via the route we took. There are a few narrow sections and a few hills but the caravan and motorhome club state caravans can be taken there. 😃 Trev

What amazing scenery, the colour of the water always fascinates me as we rarely see that in the UK - beautiful mountains too. Those sausages looked huge and all round tasty meal. Looks like you are having an amazing time. Great you’re travelling together too.

The tour really got a boost when we entered the Alps with some amazing scenery and continued heatwave. We had the site almost to ourselves and everywhere was looking stunning 😃 Trev
Geez, and I thought our roundabouts were bad! That thing had to have 6 or 7 exits?!?
Some of the roundabouts needed to be travelled round twice to pick the right exit. Too many confusing signs to make a decision first time around 🤣🚐 Trev
Absolute paradise , even the french mountain roads look better than our A roads 😂 , what a stunning place & great to see you all having a laugh , not sure about all those cars coming from the left at the roundabouts 😬 , lovely video guys 👍😀

They were roads in the town but the tracks we took to the town were all dedicated cycle routes. Sue is counting her steps and gets 10,000 nearly every day 😃 Trev x
Apologies if you had already mentioned this the blog but what time of year was this filmed, we have done the Alps in June before but are planning September next year. Interested to see if cableway etc would still be running. Thanks
This was filmed in early September and the gondola was closed the first week in September so we missed it by a few days hence the campsite was virtually empty 😃 It seems to correspond with the school summer holidays 🙂🚐 Trev
