War of the Rohirrim - Wasted Potential

Well, the latest alleged Tolkien product is here... and yeah, it's product, that's for sure. I have consumed it like a good little consumer of product and I am very excited for next product.
I don't know, maybe my standards for Tolkien adaptations are just too high, but I just don't think War of the Rohirrim is a good movie. It's obviously no Lord of the Rings, but I DO think it's significantly better than Rings of Power, so at least there's that...
I don't really love doing reviews of movies that I have seen one time. I need a second or third watch to really be able to dissect it. So don't be surprised if I one day change my tune one way or another regarding this film.
Anyway, here are my thoughts, such as they are.
