Ideas- Glasgow Celtic should play a home league game in Dublin City, to encourage more people in Ireland to support Glasgow Celtic. The game could be played outside the League of Ireland season. A Celtic Cup Cup played between Scottish, Irish, Northern Irish and Welsh teams. A British and Irish Youth Cup played between all the youth teams of the Scottish and English Premiers and a selection of Northern Ireland, Republic Of Ireland and Welsh league sides. So there.

I understand when Keane says Ireland's a small country and can't always expect big things. But look at Uruguay: the first-ever World Cup winner and country with most Copa América titles. That's an awful lot for a country with just over 3 million people! On the other hand, Costa Rica and the Netherlands haven't reaped many rewards but they both can play really entertaining football! I think it may be time for the Irish to shake off that ugly Brit influence in their game and learn from others!
