We have a community of Filipino’s here in Alaska we had associate with in our church. Fellowships we hosted many many times, paid for so many provisions. My husband and I asked for our Filipino “friends” to host fellowships meetings and no one would.
On a whim, “they dropped out of our lives with no rhyme or reason.” We had 2 groups of Filipino’s, they have all drop my husband and I.
We recently ran into one of the group, and o asked why “you guys” just left us!
We’ve been taken advantage of…we loved these people, I grieve for several years, hurt over this..!
We know now to recognize the “red flags.” True friends sacrifice their time and energy..!
