- SUP Y'ALL?! YAYYY, back to MY beginning with Dreamcatcher here. They did these special versions of Boca (my first DC song) and I did NOT expect to hold back tears after the K-zombie version. I was just so overwhelmed by how obviously hungry these girls are to showcase their talent and passion. Boca is still one of my favorite songs that I listen to everyday. I fall in love with DC more and more as each day passes!

I'm Cambodian and Chinese.
I was born in November of 1983 (so I'll be 37 this year) and raised in Houston, TX.
"OG KPOP STAN": I've always used the term "OG" (supposedly "original gangster") to define being old-school, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Kpop was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in my younger years and it's just stuck by me ever since.
I was a hiphop dancer for about 7 years. I did the whole crew thing, auditioning thing, competition thing, choreography thing, dance instructor thing, so I have some experience in that field and I hope to be able to share some perspective from my experiences for y'all to see the extra things that I appreciate about a video when I point them out.
-My videos can have quite a lot of cuts in editing and/or my eyes will unnaturally blink rapidly sometimes. This is because of my neurological disease that came with my lupus nephritis (posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome). My thinking abilities and speaking abilities struggle to align at times.

Fun fact: The makeup artists and costumers for the Netflix show Kingdom (a show about zombies/political intrigue set in the (edit:) Joseon period) did the makeup and wardrobe for the k-zombie video. That's how dedicated they were to the entire concept and aesthetic.
It would be cool if they worked together again on a promotional video for the show since its Halloween season

Dreamcatcher pays immaculate attention to details in everything they do. They have my most respect. For the zombie version for example, all the dancers were in "zombie's character the whole time, the ripped up flags, the girls changed up their choreos, and their make up was done by the Kingdom make up team as well. Their company really went all out for this one
The first time Yoohyeon does the thunder drop thunder line she does this subtle bow and tilts her head, paying homage to the traditional outfit and style but later on they take on the zombie aspects when they get eaten and are jerky and unnatural it's amazing
This girl maybe the most beautiful reactor i've ever seen
2:25 yoohyeon's nod deserves a mention. they are so detail oriented, it strikes so strong.

I'm not a huge Kpop stan, I like some groups, some specific songs etc.
But I am totally captivated by DC because of their absolute immense talent and attention to detail. I have yet to see any group that communicates so much emotion and meaning in their routines.
Like you said, that little nod for example. Gahyeon's little eyebrow raise in Scream after the circle part, the absolute perfect timing on them doing that roll and squat thing one after another as thina mentioned.
They are absolutely terrific.
@@tocov yes! I'm not really a huge fan of Kpop either, but I love Dreamcatcher and Mamamoo. Neither group feels entirely like Kpop, which I guess is why I like them and not others
When you said, “They’re popping out of nowhere”, with the flag part, that reminded me of a concert intro that they did with flags and a coffin that is very cool to see and it goes straight into “You and I” and it is all done while it’s raining and the stage has standing water on it. I think it’s 6 minutes or longer video. An epic moment in Dreamcatcher history that is definitely worth checking out sometime. And I love the ‘BOCA’ K-Zombie Version, I felt the same as you, they all did an amazing job with it. Great reaction.

I just went back and watched it on The K-POP UA-cam channel and the camera work is not good, but I found the one that I’ve already seen before on Rock Music UA-cam channel and it’s better. That was an amazing stage and the rain coming down just made it even more awesome and definitely legendary.

Beyond the visual impact impact of the video, I'm impressed with how far they took it. They could have simply done the Boca dance moves in traditional clothes and in zombie makeup and we would have loved it. But they didn't stop there, they modified all of their dance moves and took it up to eleven. Which is what they always do. As you said, they are consummate profesionals.
I'm right there with you! My heart was bursting with adoration when I watched the Zombie version. Never have I seen a group so consistently give their all. You can tell everyone involved has a great respect and love for this art they are creating and it shines through in everything they deliver! I'm so grateful for them and grateful I get to share these experiences with you! ^_^

Dude i fully understand you when you say you almost cried. Whenever I watch DC video there's always this point where I suddenly teared up because I'm just so proud stanning them but Dreamcatcher is stil an underappreciated group to all kpop fans esp koreans so I get emotional whenever I see their work yet it didn't get much attention.
Wow girl you got all emotional with the ZVersion, you almost make me cry. The power of Dreamcatcher is amazing with so much feelings in everything they do.
the make up was made by the same team who made the make up for "Kingdom" the netflix show of Zombies from Corea.

Their zombie-choreo was so on point! Specially, JiU and Siyeon bending their bodies was so damn real.

You should react to the BOCA Part change version!!! The girls switched parts and filmed a dance version doing a different member's choreography. I really think you'd enjoy it. And the fact that they learned each other's choreo and basically nail it goes to show how hard they work
It's all right with that. The fandom literally sometimes cries with pride and how good they all are, their entire team! This is just proof of the epithets related to Dreamcatcher, as well as the sincerity of the emotions they evoke. Thank you, for the reason that you feel it..

I think the reason why you want to cry is because you were a dancer (retired), and you got touched by their passion for dancing.
If you know what I mean, it's mixed feeling between awe with performance, but also your reflect, passion, and desire as dancer. Beautiful.

Dami really freak me out at 3:47 when i saw the video for the 1st time. I became a kpop fan feb 14, 2017, when DC was a 1 month old girl group, Chase me perform in a volleyball field really kill me and made me a DC fan since. I have got "the feels" on EVERY comeback so i'm glad you got the feels too. The k-zombie version has by far become my favourite version so far. everything about it is awesome... from DC to the backup dancers, the stage and the outfits it is all epic
They can do literally any concept they want. Notice how the hanbok version is subtly more elegant than the original. Their movements aren't as powerful...

hi, can you pls sort your playlist after release date? i like to go through the journey of reactors with them when they discover new groups. but the playlist is kinda all over the place release date wise,.. so i have to check the release of every video instead of just watching the playist. i know there is a button for that in sorting your own playist
