Gucchon, a perfect example of dancing without being bound to any style. In dance, you either have an amazing creativity or amazing dance ability. Dance is an art, therefore creativity is highly valuable too and for some who don't have creativity, dance ability will win and I think it depends on people whether they like being creative or just dancing :D Creative moves normally don't have a feeling to it but it got some sort of intellect to it while most people that just dance don't have much creativity but they got the feeling on it. There are also those who are just bound to one style and copies someone else's way of feeling and tries to obtain credibility out of it. Dance styles are boogaloo, animation, etc. Dance style in dancing is like Karate in fighting. At the end of the day, it is not the guy with the right form front kicks and punches that win but it is the one that knocks the other guy out or scores most points and yes the style does help them obtain that but knocking the opponent out is the ultimate goal. This is similar to dance too where you don't focus on how good your boogaloo is or a particular style but can you use those styles to help you dance better or not. Dancing better is not just doing the same movements that you learned in the style but rather combining it on the spot with your feeling and it may come out looking odd and simple but you have to accept that as your actual feeling for the music that is being played ^_^ Look at Gucchon doing the salsa kinda thing in his battle against Nelson and also him doing Mokujin on this battle but he is still popping coz he is hitting. That salsa kinda move is what he felt so he just did it and that is called honesty in dance. Mokujin is something he created as his own version of Scarecrow like how bruce lee created JKD out of other fighting styles. After all, popping is just hitting. As long as you are hitting, you are popping. Popping is not a dance style on its own, it is like a seasoning to the dance that makes your dance/movement look sharper. In fighting terms, it is like using a weapon to increase your chances of winning the fight and whether you think using a weapon will enhance or decrease the winning chance is up to you depending on the circumstances. Popping is an umbrella term for dance styles that is popular for utilizing hitting.
You just made me really think... I don't believe I have great creativity dance wise... But my style, control, and natural musicality makes up for it I think... Most of the moves that I do which are extremely eye pleasing were inspired by the dancers I looked up to, but nowdays once I get warmed up I can kind of just groove with traditional "popping" and transition into things like waving, robot, strobing etc... But really complex stuff? I can't do that on the fly lol. I usually have to think of some concepts and practice them for a bit. I think most dancers do that, but some are just very creative.
In_Vas_Por I definitely feel that. It’s kinda like I’m very good at all the technical stuff and can pick stuff up very quickly, but when it comes to freestyling or analyzing beats on the fly, it’s really hard lol
Man, you don't know what the hell you are talking about. Rules in this fake platform are really against old-school American popping. People going crazy about greenteck’s attitude in battles haven’t seen any videos of him in cyphers. His energy is completely different, in a battle what you’re doing when you’re not dancing is also part of the battle, to confuse the opponent and destabilize him or her. Yes he might go a bit far sometimes, but a battle is a battle and it has always been like that, what you people are looking for are cyphers, that’s a totally different setting.
This Biggity Boy's a Diggity Dog I get that and I agree it was too much for me too, I’m more from the « no touching » school but I think that situation needs a good talk not a battle ban. Anyway I’m talking about his other battles, where I’ve seen people go « he’s too agressive » « he’s too mean » or blablabla. Water his too far battle or not, respect is not in the attitude but in the letting of the other dancer perform, it goes both ways, people who think that there should be only « good » vibes in battles don’t understand that it would kill the whole thing, every personnality has it’s place.
i met him en Argentina, I didnt even knew who he was, He was the judge in an event and i was walking with a friend and we found this group that was smoking a joint so we stay and he was sitting like he was one of them, just when they told me he was greenteck i realized, he is so chill
Steven Perez greentek and poppin Jon are my favorite dancers, green has always been a sore loser, he is an AMAZING dancer, but he needs to take a page out of PJs book, if you watch Jon he is ALWAYS magnanimous and respectful.
Its just part of how some people battle. u can tell theyr actually cool with eachother and respect eachother, they have done showcases together, and guchon looks like hes really into greens style when he was mc for an event in japan which green won. I think viewers read too much into the few minutes they see of battles and are too fast to put people down based on like 5 minute videos.
Auron710 I've been popping for 11 years lol, I watched Green from start till now, he has always been a sore loser, sometimes talking during rounds, trying to mock moves(and no not in a nice way lol), Green is one of the most skilled of today though, and I LOVE him and his style. You ever seen him battle C-pop lol? That is not friendly at all. I've battled A LOT of cats, and I am always respectful, Green gets emotional and disrespectful in a number of battles and it's not just " the way he battles" this is an opinion I personally have formed over years of watching him lol. He is cool majority of the time, but he is no doubt being disrespectful to Gucchon in this battle.
Love Greenteks incredible skills and musicality. He has a Boogie boy attitude to pull off all the difficult movement opponents can’t duplicate. Watch him kill the song. Incredible. Would have given it to Greentek.
greenteck always with his attitude the battle attitude which i love but people wont give him wins cause they take it as he arrogant or something. he won here but the crowd gave it to gucchon cause he was less arrogant
Greenteck is an animal, but Gucchon is the king of the jungle. There's nobody on his level. There's Gucchon and them, there's everyone else. People that know popping understand that.
I got the sneaky feeling the crowd is not respecting Greenteck's dancing capabilities and good moves because WE ALL KNOW FROM UA-cam ABOUT HIS CHARACTER!!! So no matter what he does, he will never got the majority on his side, unfortunately, even in this battle, HE IS AGGRESSIVE combative, and trying to intimidate his opponent, which I know that's just his style, as it is A DANCE BATTLE, but in a way I think a lot of people find not cool. It's a shame because HE IS A GOOD DANCER. I actually LOVE HIS STYLE, he is very good. I used to watch loads of his videos until I saw how he can be such a bad sportsman.
gucchon's last round was still much longer than Green. Gucchon's last round agaisnt Nelson was longer and stronger than him too. if there was a popper with stronger mentallity and physiclly then its Gucchon. green is high at the begining then dies down at the end of each set.
define "being from the westcoast". you sound like a fool because america can not claim the term "westcoast". thats ridiculous. every country has north, east, south and west sides.
How r u trying to blast on dude about the definition of west coast, in the US, west coast is defined as Washington state down to California, with the outline cities bordering the actual coast, smart man! Every country doesn't have an actual coast, so think before u type fool!!!
It's called style. Figured a popper would know that. Mofak is from quebec I think, and he makes west coast style music and reps west coast. West coast is more than just an geographical area...

Been to GUCCHON's workshop, and his batttle style is pretty clear, watch and learn. Nelson is almost there, but I don't think Green is at the same level. I love and admire his style, however, Gucchon is unsolvable.
I get that Green doesn't respect Gucchon's style but this was probably a bit further than he should have taken in it in my opinion. I get battle tactics but it doesn't take throwing major shade to win big jams, Hoan is proof of that. To each their own and i respect battle tactics but i really am starting to dislike Green in spite of his amazing groove. He's a little stuck in the past when it comes to approach to battles. Just my 2 cents.
Sanjay Ramzan what suggests he doesnt respect his style? i think its all part of battling i mean he shook hands and seemed fine at the end and i dont think hed do that if he seriously didnt like the guy

If Greenteck's aggressive approach in competition isn't scripted or financially influenced (which I feel that it is along with many other dancers with the same behavior), he has a lot of maturing and developing to do not only for self but more importantly as a dancer. He is very talented and would like to see him focus more on honing his style as oppose to intimidating and/or provoking other dancers.
honing his style? dude hes already like the best popper in the world, dont think it can get much better, and besides its a battle...as long as hes not throwing punches i dont see anything wrong with his behavior

GREENTECK WON FOR ME. He battled much better.
greenteck es el rey...saludos desde Tijuana mexico...
alex garcia // Tome un “like”, querido paisano
Green boy needs to act right and give respect and not act like a punk while Gucchon is getting down.
especially since it's gucchon, a dance legend and og
Yes,Agreed completely, his behavior is embarrassing
Premium Quali! Thx for that great Upload!
Love Greenteks incredible skills and musicality. He has a Boogie boy attitude to pull off all the difficult movement opponents can’t duplicate. Watch him kill the song. Incredible. Would have given it to Greentek.
It's hard to tell who won. Both were great. Gucchon looked more fresh and inventive, Greenteck has awesome style and skills.
Gucchon is on another lvl of musicality! so good
gucchon is dancing a story, not only the technical show!gucchon is an artist!
gucchon as always dope, good battle
song number 1-2-3-4 please thanks
2014 & 2015 were my favorite years of PF.
one of the best battles i have ever seen
gucchon is world Biggest talent in popping whole history !
green is world Biggest manner in popping whole history !
greenteck always with his attitude the battle attitude which i love but people wont give him wins cause they take it as he arrogant or something. he won here but the crowd gave it to gucchon cause he was less arrogant
That's unfair!
+Ca- Blaze This is exactly why we need competent judges in this type of competition.
+Jay Blue They were the judges.
Greenteck is an animal, but Gucchon is the king of the jungle. There's nobody on his level. There's Gucchon and them, there's everyone else. People that know popping understand that.
I like hoan way more than gucchon. Don't get me wrong he is really talented but I dont like his style so much I prefer teck as well.
Gucchon can't follow Greenteck's physical, but Greenteck also can't follow Gucchon's imagination
gucchon's last round was still much longer than Green. Gucchon's last round agaisnt Nelson was longer and stronger than him too. if there was a popper with stronger mentallity and physiclly then its Gucchon. green is high at the begining then dies down at the end of each set.
Respect to both dancers, incredible talent !!
Green got robbed ..... this is why crowds shouldn't pick winners
Sorry. Green is great but he's NOT beating Gucchon.
+fifthsense23 really ? because he did in this video 👍
+Mayday he did win but he is too cocky and crowd hates that
+Ca- Blaze The final round made him look more like a dick lol.
fifthsense23 greenteck has beat gucchon in freestyle spirit 2016..
song list please
SO funny how people REP the westcoast as if they are from there! lol.
define "being from the westcoast".
you sound like a fool because america can not claim the term "westcoast". thats ridiculous.
every country has north, east, south and west sides.
Chill out bro
How r u trying to blast on dude about the definition of west coast, in the US, west coast is defined as Washington state down to California, with the outline cities bordering the actual coast, smart man! Every country doesn't have an actual coast, so think before u type fool!!!
+Smoothwater who was blasting who? lol
i wrote side not coast at the end. nice try though.
It's called style. Figured a popper would know that. Mofak is from quebec I think, and he makes west coast style music and reps west coast. West coast is more than just an geographical area...
guys I need that first and second song in my life what were they?
+Darren Mickens I also need the second song. Please.
@@shavebeard do you still need it?
@@tomstervelo Yes, Tomi. Do you have it? :-)

anyone know the track names????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Name the last song pliss
Been to GUCCHON's workshop, and his batttle style is pretty clear, watch and learn. Nelson is almost there, but I don't think Green is at the same level. I love and admire his style, however, Gucchon is unsolvable.
The last song anybody ?
Great battle bringing nerves to the fullest!

I must know all the songs. Please
Greenteck tuvo que ganar...es el mejor, lo supero en técnica y exigencia.
No
2nd song is nobunaga song but he said he cant find the track..but they all say that
I get that Green doesn't respect Gucchon's style but this was probably a bit further than he should have taken in it in my opinion.
Sanjay Ramzan I like the quiet competitors. Sort of like a sniper. They stay calm and take the shots when they come.
Teck and gucc always been rivals .
first time I see Greenteck without a hat
great battle
tanya379 This is the first time I seen him without dredds lol

If Greenteck's aggressive approach in competition isn't scripted or financially influenced (which I feel that it is along with many other dancers with the same behavior), he has a lot of maturing and developing to do not only for self but more importantly as a dancer. He is very talented and would like to see him focus more on honing his style as oppose to intimidating and/or provoking other dancers.
honing his style? dude hes already like the best popper in the world, dont think it can get much better, and besides its a battle...as long as hes not throwing punches i dont see anything wrong with his behavior
@@rondremolo5052 2017 Greentech was at his pinnacle, 2022 he's absolutely mastered his style as a popper/dancer. It has a privilege watching Green throughout the years.
꾸종 졸라 멋있다 ... 대체 불가임
This dude came to battle!!! Get over your feelings children and give some respect for the energy and willingness to come with that battle attitude, no matter who you're up against.
You battle with your dance Not with your mouth.
Greenteck needs to educate himself.
Stop getting excuses for his behavior.
He is a great dancer, but most of the time when he speaks it looks like he is frustrated about everything around him. It's so annoying to hear him speak.
2nd song just remind me of hoan😍😍😍
Someone gives me IG of the girl who wears the pink blouse( om the corner next to gucchon)
