Very strange decision. Bruins were due to win a big game vs the Zags.
He was trying to get the shot off before defenders can get to him. Also, players practice those hero shots. Jalen Suggs hit one of those against UCLA and said in an interview that they practice from half court.
Go Bruins! We survived the Zags this year in the regular season.

by both teams turning the ball over and neither team could score... You play like that

ucla was going to foul. He wanted to avoid shooting two free throws by shooting a 3 before they could do that
UCLA was never going to foul. You obviously haven't watched Cronin-coached teams. They never foul up three on an opponent with the last possession.
Mick knows the history of the rivalry. That's the shot he wanted them to take. Gonzaga isn't going to make that 3/3.

Horrible game, the refs threw a Gonzaga player out of the game, called a flagrant foul another Gonzaga player but swallowed their whistle when ucla made the “dangerous” contact. BS that a rigged game are you kidding.
Very nice win, Bruins! UCLA is moving up the rankings! This Zags team is (yet again), a great team. A lot of great players. I do want us to beat the Zags during March Madness, though. That would be a definite revenge win in my book.

Well for one he can’t seem to make a move to the hoop without traveling and also he’s way too slow on defensive rotations for a Mick Cronin team.
Congratulations NCAA college basketball I will never watch another game again. Your refs set a precedent in this game about dangerous contact and the “intent”. You kicked Gonzaga player out of the game, you gave Gonzaga player a flagrant 1 for a clean block. But when the UCLA player makes the dangerous contact, jumps at a Gonzaga player leading elbow first straight into his head you swallow your whistle? It’s not about whether it’s a “basketball play” or “intent” it’s was there contact initiated and it’s dangerous. But apparently when we had to listen to that and see it it’s only a rule for Gonzaga. Absolutely biased and rigged. Not another minute will I watch ever again. You failed
