After working onboard Tanker vessels for 7 years, I got the opportunity to work onboard an Offshore Supply Vessel (OSV).
It's been quite eventful, and I can say I'm grateful for this.
This video is a mini tour of an Offshore Supply Vessel, comparing it with my previous tanker vessels, and the different job scope.

I worked on these in the 90s. This ship would have been considered a meaty enough ship back then. Those bridge wings are horrendous though, they look like they were thrown on after the initial build.
Nothing wrong with your ship👍 . Any major changes in shore time or do you stay on watch whether at sea or in port ? Do like the videos, keep 'm coming !

Why you are leave main fleet tanker and why shift in ofshore type vessel
Because the pay is much better in Dp2 vessel , the higher paying after gas carriers are Dp2 ,dp3 vessels , where a captain can easily get $18k with much less pressure compared to mainfleet.
