Yeah it's actually scarier to drive at top speeds in this game. NFS prostreet also has a good sense of speed. NFS heat with the unite mod has crazy sense of speed than Shift 2.
And you wonder why EA didn't carry on with the same features and sounds or dynamics, that's because slightly Mad Studios are the ones responsible for that, EA f*cked tried to fu*k them over and steal their game engine, that's why EA didn't carry on with the saga, Slightly Mad Studios then quit working for EA and released Project cars

Tbh, I wish EA would get off the Battlefield wagon and Make NFS:Shift 3 or an NFS open world game similar to Forza Horizon 3 but with extreme customization and damage detail like Burnout Paradise. NFS 2016 was alright but it missed so many things that make racing games near perfect.

I still prefer Shift because it has anything better than Driveclub starting from sounds (Driveclub's sounds are good but muffled, while Shift's sound are less accurate but well simulated and realistic), the physics (Shift is hard to master but once you get the hand of it, it feels like driving a real car, Driveclub is a "drive fast, hope not to crash") but not the graphics (Shift looks a lot better and scarier in night time).

Wait till you hear that its not in its final form. You could get a WORKS conversion (if I spelled it right) and the max power is around 1,281hp while having a curb weight of 1,320kg. Almost 1:1 power-weight ratio
It doesn't increase the top speed. It'll just give engine the strenght needed to reach its limit. Same in the game, the car doesn't reach 400km/h because the engine is not strong enough but the gears are. If you use nitro it'll boost the engine so it'll reach the gears limit.

Developers were basically recycling engine sounds from other racing games; like the mobile version of NFSMW '12 which recycled the engine sounds from Shift.

The purpose of NOS is to increase engine power. What gives the engine its real power is the oxygen taken by the intake to combust the fuel. NOS is 2 Parts Nitrogen, 1 Part Oxygen. Oxygen, gives the engine its actual power. NOS concentrates this a lot compared to a standard intake to liquid oxygen. The Nitrogen acts as a buffer, giving it more power. In real life it could increase top speed.. My friend incorrectly used NOS, melted his pistons to liquid steel and sent it out the tail pipe.
actually NOS replaces the gasoline in the engine but unlike gasoline NOS explode causing more compression in your engine causing it to put out more power if you do not have the key componets of your engine forged it will blow the welds on the intake and other components even with these components forged NOS is still a very bad idea to run through a vehicle
