Summary:
An experienced artist creates a masterpiece, their magnum opus, and people are amazed and impressed by it, even the artists themselves think it is their best work yet. Time passes and the artist tries to make a new piece but it ends up not as good or similar to the piece that is well received by others. The audience compares the artist's current piece to the previous more successful one. The artist now conveys a feeling of envy towards their own magnum opus contrasted by other's opinions. They feel unmotivated, stressed, and discontent with their work, feeling like they are not progressing and being tied down by their own piece. To progress the artist decides to do something drastic.
