I live in Manila and got the chance to visit Metropolitan Cebu just recently, just after the destruction of Typhoon Odette. I'd say that I love Metro Cebu. It was also my first time to drive around the Metro since we got our 4x4 pick up and drove it all the way from the City of Manila up to Cagayan de Oro City in Mindanao, via Cebu Island Province using a RoRo vessel. I hope I could go back there once again, hopefully the CCLEX, and Metro Cebu Expressway are all being utilized. Kudos to Metro Cebu LGU. I really had a great time. Also, hoping that the government would implement the construction of LRT and MRT, linking the airport for a much more efficient travel experience as I observed that the traffic condition is almost at par with Metro Manila. Still I am very optimistic with the Development of Metro Cebu. Mabuhay! 🇵🇭

As a resident of Manila, I am happy with a vast and rapid development happening in Visayas and Mindanao region. I hope subway will also be built in Metro Cebu and Metro Davao.

davao is slow compared to cebu and manila. ngayon lang nman yan may maraming nag invest kasi presidente ng pinas taga davao pero tignan nyo after bumaba si Duterte.. wala na naman investment jan kasi mas maganda parin mag invest sa metro Manila lalo na sa metro Cebu dahil sa tourism. Basura nanaman davao in 2022.

@@swedishmeatball8290 you are wrong. The Cebu development have been happening since the 90s. Cebu City was always progressive before the 90s but sped up when the Osmeñas returned to the city hall and politics in general. Duterte has nothing to do with this progress.

CDO is a strategic location to Cebu & Manila, nd it's one of the fastest growing highly urbanized city in Mindanao,. Davao on otherhand is very far & its city is scattered.. CDO is progressing very fast & might surpass Davao in years to come..

So this look like it was taken before the pandemic because no mask, no shield, no problem, now it's still no entry! hehehha...Yeah my family is so use to living a city lifestyle; going out to restaurants, kids playgrounds before they shutdown and visiting local resorts. But just a few weeks ago, we went out to the Hidden Valley resort over the mountain in between Toledo and San Fernando/Naga areas. What an adventure it was! Driving through snake roadways by sunset and got turnaround a little bit until night fall. What a relief to finally see the highway, homebound to Cebu City! Maybe next time take a tour from Cebu to Hidden Valley and bring a GPS with you. It will come in handy for sure.

@@dannygumato671 Yeah ever since we got a family car last December. We drove real early morning to Santander and visited a church there and then went to the beach. My kids were like horses that just got out of the barn after lockdown, Mgcq and other gov non-sense of controlling people's mobility. They were so happy! So every weekend, we would go out on a road trip to see what's out there from North to South Cebu provinces. This weekend, we plan to go to Cascade Nature Park in Compostella. Next month or around May, we want to drive through all the way around Cebu non-stop and see how long it would take us? Without much traffic and stops, I'm guessing, it should take about a day. I once drove from Florida to California and it took me 2 1/2 days. That was like 3000 miles! We're in an island of Cebu.

thanks to cebu city mayor edgardo labilla for making cebu city quite clean but those areas below fly-over cleanliness should be fully address too dilapidated steel fences w/c causes too eyesore to public eyes maybe it is about time to removed it and replaced it with much impressive development also center islands of roads beautification must be implimented no matter how poor the city is as long as it is clean it is still a lovable city

looks good in the video but in reality very dirty, smells bad, side walks looks dilapidated, wires as thick as a mans body dangling above, even a simple street lights wiring they cant do it properly so very dirty to look at. typical of a third world country. I haven't seen a clean river in the city of Cebu. like every river we pass by is full of shit, garbage everything thing you can think of. i even saw a sofa chair. I dont want to visit Cebu anymore. I just visited Cebu because i thought it's a nice city like what they advertise but its not. I was scammed..

I miss cebu I was there traveling island to island month of April 3 weeks vacation I can’t wait to go back again....
