Guy - I am friend and a fan of your sister (??) Jill. These videos of yours present an amazing piece of very little known El Dorado County History. Thanks for putting it out there. I've done a little research here, read quite a bit of Peabody, and have never seen what you are describing in your videos. (Actually Peabody mentions the talking rocks but also refers to them as rocks tribal leaders stood on to address their minions) I have shared some of your history with some respected local historicals and have gotten some pretty funny looks. But you know how judgmental history people (other than Jill) can be. I hate that attitude. Anyway, I'm wondering how you come to know all this stuff. I assume there's not a lost history book of Native American battle stories on your shelf. Is this oral history? From whom? Have you been able to validate it with other accounts? Just curious.
Love the information of this area’s native people and where there tribes were all located. Wish I could have heard ya better but I’m not complaining ✌🏻
Guy , If your still alive , I can show you a place where they made points at the top of the ridge on mosquito rd . ,some grinding holes and where a canon ball was found there .
This story is BEYOND BRILLIANT Way to go BRAVO
One of my favorite swimming holes also great for riding Ditropan bikes.
Blown away with what you know about all this! I am working my way through but impressed by your vast knowledge on this subject.

Great Video!
Wish I could see a map. Is it the South fork of the American River??
The music is louder than Guy's voice. Interesting, though.
