Man its so crazy to think I first watched you cover watermelon man and now you’re one of the first channels I see when searching for pedal demonstrations. Congrats on your success and great playing!
Great job with the video. I really like this pedal, and I am saving for it. I really like the sound you dialed in around 9-10 min in, so cool. 😊
Lots of nice reverb pedals out there, but this the most tweakable out of them all. I love it!!!! (The beautiful playing from Mike helps a lot too!!).
Such a helpful demo - thank you for laying it out clearly
Nice demo (best I’ve seen so far) of the Nightsky. I love Strymon’s verb/delay pedals (Flint remains an all time fav). There’s a lot to process here, good there are presets to save settings👍. Nice job, Mike😄.
Thanks for such an informative demo. It really helps me understand this beast.
Very Nice! Mine will be here any day and this really made me look forward to it.
That is some smooth playing. Thank you.
Great play through Mike!
They say you want to use this up front in reverb stacking...but I found that it works best at the end of my stacking chain...
The stereo effect is delicious on this video,Mike.. (use good headphones, guys!)😮
awesome!
Gotta get this 😮
I'm a reverb and delay junkie too, i own about 40 of them...
This is a very nice toy and your playing is as smooth and interesting like every time.
But, as i'm getting older, over 60, i'm a bit afraid of those hundert knobs an buttons. And if i don't touch it for 2 weeks i'm starting over with the learning process. Maybe it's Alzheimers 😎
Hmmm, now i know why i prefer my good old spring tank:
Every knob at 2 o'clock and surf's on..
@mike hermans how does one contact you (without resorting to Facebook)? Looks like you took your email off the About tab (or never had it up). Lemme know! And sorry to resort to commenting.
Thank you for this helpful demo! What amp are you using?
Hey have you found away to change presets whith out it cutting the trails abruptly? On while turning on and off?
Ever feel like maybe Strymon made a pedal just for your weird side chain synthy rig? I do now.
I use translation.
Can I set presets?
How many presets can I set or change using MIDI?
Desirable, but my pedal board is slotted for an El Capistan and Mercury 7.
Not for me. A lot of the sounds just dont sound usable to me--just way too out there. I could imagine some creative uses for it though.
It did go extreme just so you could hear all the subtlety... it does more basic stuff but then why buy this?
@@popintothechemist totally agree this thing is for massive amounts of creative pouring into.
Don’t be such a reverb prude bro what you scared of lol- just kidding of course...
Sounds really god sounding machine, but some "variations" do not sound different from others at all
Cool, but I'll stick with my beautiful Mercury 7 for the time being.
Does this pedal simulate a tremelo effect?
Hi guys I have this pedal but I’m having a hard time deciphering certain things. What exactly is the reverb core ?
I'm a reverb junkie, don't do this to me.Yep, it's big, but this thing sounds almost too good. Massive! Something tells me there may be new delay coming soon ...... possibly named ... The "End of Days Delay" ??
Wow. If there's a reverb sound you can't get from this pedal, what you're looking for isn't reverb.
An overkill almost not very useful pedal ... Just saying
Depends on how you use it. It's essentially a midi controlled synth with some full verb. I would not use it like a regular verb. Side chain it to a different amp.
Seems like the perfect pedal for quarantine. If I actually had gigs I’d have no time to sit and play with all of the options.
Perfect for exploring. Presets for live...
