I have had some less than savory interactions with Insta360, but looking at the One X2 may have just changed the way I feel.
Let's break down this 360 camera, dissect hardware, specs, and price to see if the Insta360 One X2 is a 'Must have!" or the same-old, re-packaged 360 con-job?

This company man,.. i'm really trying. I want them to be ethical, and honest, and put out good products... Time will tell. 🤞

the only problem is, even if i bought it at amazon or wherever, their tech support is so horrible to deal with that you'll never get it fixed without paying a ton of money sending it back to hong kong. then finding out it works fine for them, and then hope they will get back to me. at least one had issues where they wouldn't email him back. simple problems require 2 weeks or more of tech support as it takes them days to return a reply and even then they give you an answer that isn't related to your question. so now i'm looking for something that takes good pictures, but not ever from this company. wish the time they spent building the camera, was also spent on the tech and customer support. because if they worked with me the last time, i might even try getting this camera.
I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, and i MIGHT pick this up... but it's hard being unbiased when they have screwed so many previous consumers.
@@TomDeCicco personally i would love to try this thing out and restore what i think about this horrid company. i'm still working with the card company. i can only assume that it either takes a long time or they are stalling or fighting on their side.
you can be unbiased about reviewing the camera itself, does it over heat? does it condensate like the other one, are the photos clean and sharp. but also then mention that the customer service is non existent. and you only get level one tech support that takes 2 or more days before responding and only for like one sentence. and you can't return the camera, because they call it a feature when it goes wrong. usually its the customer service that kills a company, eventually that creeps up. i just looked at the trustpilot for go pro, that are only slightly better than this company. but i can only imagine their track record must be better when it comes to things working.
this company is still pretty new, and even reading about their $15,000 camera, it also had issues and they also had a really hard time getting support for that thing. so it would make me wary to try anything this company has to offer. because sooner or later, even if yours works, you'll have to deal with them, and that's when the screaming starts.
