- Approaching our 25th anniversary, we decided to examine what we’ve accomplished so far. We wanted to see how the experiences we gathered over two decades could contribute to us having an even greater impact on the world around us. The result of this self-reflection is the decision to make the Forum for Dialogue Network the core of our activities and programs. Though we are dropping the name “Leaders of Dialogue,” all the activists have now become part of the Network, officially launched on June 17 at the 9th National Leaders of Dialogue Conference.
We believe that a community of people united by a commitment to a common cause is much more than the sum of the individuals it’s made up of. We share the same goals, which we pursue in different ways. Regardless of the kind and level of engagement, all the people gathered in the Network identify with Forum's mission and understand that cooperation is a necessary condition for effective change. Activists organize commemorations, preserve Jewish heritage, educate, and engage in Polish/Jewish dialogue. Donors and benefactors, in turn, provide invaluable financial contributions, and often share their knowledge and experience.
From now on, our main goal is to develop the Forum for Dialogue Network in Poland and abroad. Together we will write a new chapter of Polish/Jewish history.
In 2023, the program for activists belonging to Forum for Dialogue Network including grants and scholarships was financed thanks to the generosity of Friends of the Forum, LEDOR WADOR Foundation, United States Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad and individual donors and institutions from Poland and abroad supporting Forum for Dialogue. Scholarships for personal development are possible thanks to The David and Anna Dlugie Kliger Scholarship Fund.
