I very much enjoyed this video. Great layout. Your run day made it a great day for rail fanning. I especially liked the refinery. Excellent structure. If I'm ever in Las Cruces I'd love to see the layout. Thanks.
@@N-Scale Hi Mike. Thank you very much the invitation. I live in Los Angeles. But if I get to Las Cruces I'll certainly visit the club. I subscribe to your UT channel too. Like all the great things you're doing with your layout also. Happy New year.
Hi Mike! Looks like you guys all had a fun run day. How did you take those high overhead "aerial" shots of the trains running? Did you stand on a high platform to shoot the footage, or did you use an aerial drone? Take care and happy rails to you. -from Tom Pilling
Attractive layout. The lightening flashes are neat. Are you using the Woodland Scenic's lighting system for the structures? Personally, I don't favor Unitrack, but paint and ballast would improve it. Thanks for the tour. Looks like everyone is having fun.
Thanks and No , the led's are China Ebay and we do not ballast on purpose as we can replace track and turnouts (if needed) without major scenery hassles. Thanks , Mike

Without ballast a lot less mess without a doubt
Mike one of the switchs has dwarf signal how is it wired to the turnout
It is wired to track power on the main and diverging rails of the turnout with resistors.
Thanks , Mike
