    I really like the way you present this, no nonsense 25 minutes video, seeing onions chopped over & over, potatoes sliced etc. To the point.

      @@TheFizz263 The assembly was a challenge and took my wife and I almost 8 hours. But the quality of materials and fit and finish is top notch. After a year of use I can heartily endorse this grill. It's a monster! The lights really helped during the winter. The searing burner is wicked effective. And this baby can cook anything and make it taste great! Granted, it's a serious financial investment but I would say that it is worth every penny.

    So I tried this a week ago as the recipe in the link in these comments directed - very overcooked by 2hrs. Tried again last night with the back burner on Low, and the side burners on Low. This setup kept the oven at around 300F. Still overcooked by just under 2hrs. But the potatoes were undercooked and needed another 30 min at higher burner settings. So, I think this recipe, as written, just doesn’t work. Maybe without the potatoes (and side burners off) it would work, but not with trying to do both at once. I have a Napoleon 650.

    Got a Prestige Pro 500 for Fathers Day (in a couple days). Looking forward to having/using a really nice bbq! However…. The manual says not to use the main burners with the rotisserie burner. I called Napoleon customer service today to clarify this and the rep told me to never use main burners with rear burner. Then I see this video this evening. She clearly turns on 2 main burners with rear burner. WTF? This is Napoleon’s own video!? What’s the deal Napoleon is the manual wrong? Is the video wrong? Confused…

    • @NapoleonProducts
      @NapoleonProducts 2 роки тому +2

      I absolutely understand why this would be deemed confusing. I can appreciate your frustration. You should not operate all of your main burners and your rear burner at the same time. This is accurate, as stated in the manual. However, like seen this video, having the two most outer main burners lit at the same time as the rear burner is considered safe and should not over heat your grill. This rule is referring more to operating all your burners at once.
