Robby, you knocked it out of the park! This is exactly the all-around off-road vehicle I want! Can I come sweep the floors to get one?? 😅 You should be very Proud! The challenges you have overcome are nearly insurmountable! Speed UTV for the WIN!
The Troy lee pro r has at least as many heavy accessories Front/rear bumpers Rock sliders Light bar Stage 5 audio system with subwoofer Heavy bead lock wheels
I’m thinking a speed UTV will be my next purchase when I finally retire the good ole turbo S. I’ve always been a suspension geek and love bombing the desert. I’m looking forward to see the improvements in the next year or two. Some dynamics DV tech would be great. I’m pretty spoiled now with dynamix and the shocks therapy treatment. Keep up the good work!
Love the passion. The only thing I'm bummed about is the brakes and needing 5k to upgrade my RGs. Especially since I'm going to run 35s. I hope everyone expected it wouldn't be the leader in a drag race without E85 because that seems obvious.
The first thing I had to do when I bought my RZR was have a roll gage built , buy seats , wheels, tires and through the stock crap in the trash then I felt better about going fast with someone in the car with me.
No. 976. Ditto on the brakes. Maybe someone will make an affordable large rotor kit. When you do the next comparison, bring one with no body & no back seats & compare that (build Q.) to the others. And, the tuning fork over the front axles, did that help them or do more harm than good? When you were testing with no body, the car looked really good, if I had the money for multiple cars I would take the body off of one (naked UTV). I think the 35's (visually) need a 16 or 17 inch wheel, and maybe improve handling. The UTV needs to be able to use the brake & gas going up steep hills or rack crawling, can't have it power down if you have to stop & restart the climb i.e.. Nick at Sand Hollow. Thanks
I want one or two (wife likes her Can Am so far) I would like a bigger engine please. 3 or 4 cyl. I need a sealed floor and cab. Help keep dust and noise out. Having a dealership in Vegas would be nice.
@@katkinsDLV theres plenty of senarios were lack of breaks can be deadly. Especaily when hes tell you to drive faster cause his shocks are good. For all i know the breaks are great in the 2 seaters(since the prototype was a diablo) and they thought it would be adequet for the 4.
@@____MC____ This still falls completely on the driver. It's a heavier vehicle in all aspects. Know what you're driving and your limits. It's also by far the safest stock UTV on the market. I don't drive my 8k lb truck the same way I do my wife's car. Why? Because it takes longer to stop and doesn't corner as well!
@@katkinsDLVyour not wrong. There are more dumb and unsafe people with utvs than not. I hate the idea of having to idiot proof things down to dont eat warning lables on tidepods, but at least fixing the brakes will benifit everyone. Saying its fine and ill make do and fire emojis isnt gunna motivate them to make things better. He may think its a hater comment, but im a customer who doesnt want mushy brakes like my work van so that i have to drive like a grandma.
@@____MC____ Yeah I get what you're saying. I'm in the 2000s so I've got plenty of time for less expensive aftermarket options to come out, since I have no plans to spend $3.5k on the race brakes. And who knows, maybe there will be different brakes on the cars by the time we get to the 2k car mark?
robbie you speed cars are way off the chart in safety and that the kind of car i would buy but fighting public corruption and identity theft is a massive challenge since they got all my info and broken in to bank accounts and credits cards and destroying my life and even taken the steering gear box loose from steering rack and cutting brake lines and loosing up the steering linkage and causing me to loose control and law firm said get rid of the trucks and then criminals broken in to bank account and stolen everything i have and still trying to save some funds to buy your car and get a place to live in due to criminals target disable veterans and destroyed my company and fbi and secrete service drop the ball and aid in the crimes against a victim of major public corruption and theft and robbery and identity theft from state of kansas.... never by a property in smith county kansas or you will loose you entire life then you will be hate your life from there the criminals target people that work out of state...
To have a brand new machine holding its own against against well proven competition is a win for me. Brakes and acceleration are hindered by the weight of the car,but that's where the strength and durability comes from imho. Brake kit, speed key and a susp tweak here and there and the speed walks away from all of them.
Using the technicality that the Pro R is "not a UTV" is not an excuse that anyone cares about. The Pro R Troy Lee Edition has a ton of excess weight in accessories. Blaming the poor braking on a skid plate is LAME
Robby, stop defending your design, it speaks for itself and looks amazing.

I’ll do a comparison video once I get my car
The Troy lee pro r has at least as many heavy accessories
Front/rear bumpers
Rock sliders
Light bar
Stage 5 audio system with subwoofer
Heavy bead lock wheels

The ProR was an Ultimate, which is much heavier than the base ProR so the weight is a wash
I noticed Kyle’s dad knows how to wear a baseball cap! Nice job Kurt

It would suck to have a family of 4 go off a cliff because you didnt engineer the brake to handle 10% more for accessories let alone 3 more bodies.
Sounds like the hypothetical driver in your scenario needs to be more aware of his surroundings and the capabilities of the machine he's driving.
