UPDATE: I was checking back today on the weapons,and now,for some reason,the Fourth Armor only unlocks 4 weapons now. I didn't mention this on the video,but I believe i once got unarmored X to work with the weapons flag correctly. I'm assuming now that this isn't due to missing coding,it's due to glitches that cause the weapons to not be unlocked.

The Gaea Armor could originally use the Special Weapons? THat explains why it said it could in the instruction booklet.
yep, and there is an unused set of special weapon colors for the armor too.
@Zedrik Allen weak? lol, it can kill enemies a lot faster then most armors cuz of the fast charge
@Zedrik Allen if you think gaea is weak then you don't know how to use it, it's the most powerful armor in the game even compared to ultimate, giving it special weapons would just be overkill
Shadow Armor from X6 also have an unused sub-weapons color palette
Spike Ball using Double Cyclone's pallete is really significant to me. In the final, if you use cheats to obtain Spike Ball in the Training Level, and use it on Magma Dragoon, he will react as if he was hit with Double Cyclone.
Also, nice to find out what that unused track was supposed to be used for.
well,in any case,we know that x4 weapons were originally present. X6 was done the same way: Wing Spiral was replaced by Infinity Mijinion's weapon.(per the X6 proto) EDIT: you should post that on TCRF,that X5 page has some nice proto content(still waiting for the x5 proto page,though)

Rockman is a pretty extinct term .i"ve noticed graphics are better and menu is refined.
I"d figure that part anyway cause Capcom gives more attention Rockman than Megaman which sounds cooler.

Dark Hold seems to last a lot longer in the proto.
+BlazeHeatnix - Definitive Dubs It does. If the proto's time was used in the final, I think it could be used to keep Skiver/Pegasus frozen long enough to actually kill him.
can you use gameshark codes to boot into the zero virus stage select from the character select?

yea, it is 100% possible, you just gotta find the right hex values for what you want.
i remember that i did it with mega man 2 in a nes emulator.
it had a tool that would let me change hex values while the game was running.
i figured out two ways. one where it would load another level on the fly while i was already in a level which loaded the new level and it's layout instantly but not the sprites so it looked all messy because it would keep the sprites of the other level and one where it would fully load the new level. so yea, it is possible.
Cyber Peacocks laser attack was in this prototype? Is this avialble as a hard copy?

At one point I was going to upload the full soundtrack,but I decided against it(wasn't as interesting as the other prototype stuff,plus,the soundtrack had already been ripped and uploaded on the internet)

no,no recibi nada. mira,yo no tengo más el mk9 para pc,solo lo tengo para ps3,y mi grabación no es muy buena que digamos. si te lo conseguis,te puedo decir como tener esas modificaciones(son bastante faciles de hacer)
